Hey everybody. I was watching some singing videos and I was curious on what people's vocal ranges were on LV :) I'm by no means a good singer and only really sing when I'm bored or am playing guitar and my vocal range doesn't really fit most songs that I'd like to play.

Depending on the day my lowest note is around a C2 or a B1, my highest chest note is a D4. My highest falsetto note is around an E5. But anything above C4 sounds crap so I generally don't even touch those notes lol.

If you're not sure I'd recommend watching this video.

First off, I'm not a trained vocalist, so I don't know if I'm doing this right. Plus, I might be a victim of "my own voice sounds different to me" at the moment (I know how I speak, but now how I sing). On top of that, I have to be quiet-ish right now for courtesy, so I took the humming option instead of singing.

As far as singing/humming goes, I think I can do a low E2 (the lowest on the provided low scale) or lower than that, and F4 on the high scale (I have to really squeak it to get higher than that). I think my standard speaking pitch (which varies slightly with mood and audience) is somewhere around C3 or the B2/A2 right below it.

No word on what I can sing, though. I plan on getting lessons, so maybe this will help.

Heck, i don't know. I'm an alto and that's it.
I'm not trained and can't hold a tune to save my life.

I've always been an alto--anything above the second C above middle C and I crack. I do have a respectable low range--so much so I can pull off a convincing male voice with practice

I got all the way down to C#2 and all the way up to F5, although the F5 was a little painful. My comfortable voice range doesn't really go above about C4, however, even though my voice can go up to F5, and that doesn't count my falsetto range, which goes significantly higher. I think I've got a decent range, but most of it really isn't usable.

My lowest note is E2, and my highest is a D5. With a falsetto though, I can get up to a C6. They don't sound stellar, but, they're there. I'm not an experienced singer aside from what I do on my piano in my bedroom, but it's messy even then. Would like to see how I'd fare singing professionally, though.

I'm a Baritone, leaning towards bass. I can sing MOST tenner notes, but my voice cracks after a couple minutes, and I sound like a female Wookie. On the lower end, there are only a few keys at the end of the average piano that I can't hit. Don't know all the terms, but it effectively means i can sing two octaves below some of the tenner parts. Funny thing is, i have the speaking voice of a tenner. I may edit this later with a link to a video that has my most comfortable range. I enjoy singing, though I'm a bit shy about it in person.
