Volunteering

I love volunteering, and I do it often! Wether it be in school, or at a food pantry- I'm there!
Seeing the unfortunate is saddening, but it gives yourself more motivation to help.

I don't have any good stories to share though, sadly.

 

I used to volunteer at the local sports club, but I quit because of a lack of time to do other things. I didn't mind doing it, it was fun (and I got free hot chocolate - does that count as payment? O.o).

I still volunteer in my summer vacation, when a special week full of fun activities meant for kids who don't have enough money to go on vacation is held. It's fun to do together with my friends and it feels good to do it, even though I don't really like kids.

 

My friend and I volunteered at my football as a ref last season, but I quit because I need time to study for my upcoming final exams. It was pretty tiring leading a match first, then playing one yourself later on the day, but it wasn't bad. We got coupons for the club canteen too, so we could have fries after our matches for free

 

I volunteer from time to time, whenever I can really. I really love volunteering, it's so much fun. I mainly volunteer for clubs like Key Club and the dance company I'm apart of. I haven't found too much trouble with volunteering and hope I can do more of it in the future!

 

I've done quite a bit of volunteering over the past few years (through church and the half marathon group I'm in), but I don't really care for it to be honest. I'll do it, but it's not something I love doing.
