How do you get around? Do any of you guys drive? If so, what do you drive and when did you start? Do you enjoy it? Personally, I drive a car around to get to school and what not. I originally got my license back in 2016, but never really drove around until recently because I was finally able to bring my car down to Southern California (I'm originally from Northern California). Being able to drive meant a lot to me, mainly because it's a symbol of freedom because now I have a means to really get to where I need to go without restraints from authority (besides the popo).
I got my license back in... 2015 I think. Been driving ever since, and I really enjoy the freedom it gives. I have an older Camry model with a V6 engine. It's fun to drive on the open highway (No, I don't speed I just like the nice hum the car gives when it's cruising )
I drive a Titanium Mica colored Mazda 3 2015 model. Personally it’s super fun to drive since it does represent freedoms and all. One thing I don’t care for is driving in California. Everyone is super aggressive and a complete douche, especially in the city. I get the aggressive part though as you have to be that way, otherwise you’ll get stepped on all the time. I’ve been driving since I was 16...so 8 years? Nearly a third of my entire life.
I have my permit and should work on getting my license, but I just can't find the motivation. I don't like driving at all. Nor to I really have any interest in cars or other vehicles, which is odd because I have a lot of big car people in my family, including my dad, and yet I've never had any interest in them.
I take public transportation because I have a phobia of driving. And it's not without reason; driving in my city literally is scary. Every moment feels like you're almost going to get into an accent and that wouldn't be good for my anxiety.
When I’m at home and not at school I drive a pretty old car. It’s name is Bu. I’ve had my license for 4 ish years now? I enjoy driving a lot! Although some people need to learn to drive where I live good god. The only place I really do no like driving is the highway, but of course I can’t really avoid it. When I’m at school I just take busses around town because they’re free, and my roommate also has her car with her so we use that from time to time.
