    Thank you Serebii!

What did you think of the walking Pokémon feature? Cute, annoying? Did you feel it was extensive enough or were you hoping to have a little more ways to interact with your partner Pokémon?

It was one of my favorite things about HGSS! It was such a simple yet very adorable and charming feature. I don't know if I'd like it in every single Pokémon game, especially since the tiny little sprites are most of what made it so cute (and might be less cute with 3D Models), but I still adored it so very much. <3 <3 It was very suiting for the Gold/Silver remakes and its overall bubbly and cutesy feel.

I peersonally loved it, and it is the reason I stopped riding my bike like I used to, I spent all of soul silver without using mine. I wish there had been a bit more interaction, but it was still fun to walk with my Pokémon. It would be pretty sweet if it returned but, I doubt it will happen soon

I wish this feature would return. I loved having my Pokémon follow me, it was so cute to see my Dragonite or my Roserade follow behind me with their overworld sprites.

I loved this feature! It gave me such a warm feeling in my heart when my Pokémon would follow me. Personally I felt a closer bond to my Pokémon due to it. I really wish it would return since it gave Pokémon animations when using overworld moves like cut or rock climb.

How can you not love your Pokémon walking behind you, it's an amazing feature :D I don't see it happening, but if it were to return that would be amazing.

Of course everyone loved it, there really isn't anything to hate! But I'm getting tired of people who keep asking for it to return. It should be obvious that it's nearly impossible to bring back a feature like that, simply because the games are too realistic now! You can't get away with a Wailord the same size as the trainer anymore, that just looks ridiculous. In Gen IV, it was possible, but they just can't do that anymore...

I didn't minded it, but I really wished they'd let or choose whenever or not we would have a Pokémon out. I would have loved to have been able to choose since I didn't always wanted to have a Pokémon running after me. There it would have been nice if we could just have tick on/off something and the Pokémon would have returned to its ball.

I'm not sure how viable it would be to return it, like Astral said you can't really get away with a Steelix or Wailord only being slightly larger than the trainer now.

I loved this feature and was hoping it would be reintroduced in the future games but especially with ORAS. I loved that the feature allowed more interaction between you and your Pokémon and with them handing flowers to you or interacting with you was so adorable and heart-warming.

I hope we will get the chance to revisit this feature in future Pokémon games :3

This was totally a perk of playing HGSS. I only wish it could be in an newer gen too though. Then i could have a Hydregion trailing after me.

I'm sure that's why they later came up with Pokémon-Amie, so that you can have more interaction with your Pokémon.

I especially liked the original walking feature in Yellow, since Pikachu had specific reactions to a lot of things within the game, such as fishing, being poisoned, and learning Thunderbolt.

I miss that feature... I've heard rumors that the increase in overworld Pokémon appearances are hints that GF is going to bring the feature back eventually. Due to realism, Pokémon such as wailords might only be "walkable" in certain areas such as large ocean areas.

I loved this feature, but I don't expect it to make a return again for a long time. The coding of it takes a lot of memory, and it was probably done in HGSS as a nostalgic throwback to Yellow and as part of the hype for HGSS at the time.

I thought it was awesome, and I really loved talking to my Pokémon as we went through the region! I always tried to get all of the Golden Leaf things for my main team members, they were awesome to look at in the status screen, plus they were a challenge to get.

I thought that was the best part of the game!!! To be honest, I thought how boring it is to have one just one character traveling around. When I first saw this, I was shocked and soon jumped in excitement. ^^; I sure do hope they do this kind of stuff again in the future.

I loved it! It was like playing Pokémon Yellow, except every Pokémon had the ability to follow. I'm hoping the bring this back in future games, or at least have it as an option. I don't see why not! Next time though, I'm hoping for more interactions with the feature.

I absolutely loved this feature. I remember taking my Empoleon to that place in Sinnoh where you can take some Pokémon out for a walk and thinking 'wow, this is pretty cool. what if Gamefreak making it possible for us to walk with every single Pokémon? nah, it's ridiculous' and then HGSS happened.

I like how some Pokémon react differently depending on the location. For example, if you take your Cyndaquil out at the route next to Azalea Town (The one that's always raining), it will tell you that it's unhappy because water. Then in the Embedded Tower where you catch Kyogre/Groudon, if you interact with your Pokémon, it will tell you that it's nervous or something along those lines.
