Let's face it. That one news website you visited 12+ years ago is not gonna to be touting that eye-gorging bright fuchsia background nowadays, especially during this, the era of the metro-but-don't-call-it-metro design phase, seemingly optimized for mobile browsing.

Can you think of any websites you've visited on and off through the years, whose design and appearance today do not remotely resemble what was there when you first stumbled upon the site?

One that comes to find for me immediately is the Channels element of Youtube. Long live the ability to upload massive channel backgrounds...

MySpace...I'm not kidding , MySpace has actually changed its UI big time.

YouTube is also one of those places that keep updating...,.sometimes its mini updates, sometimes they're usless, then mobile YouTube becomes the most complex app ever...and I still can't close the app and listen to music.

The Pokémon webpage has changed quite a bit since the first time I went there.

I can name a few: namely Facebook, YouTube, and even Neopets. They've all gone and changed quite a bit these days.

As mentioned, Facebook and YouTube are 2 big ones that have really, really changed over the years.
Another one that comes to mind is Skype's website, also Hotmail (which is now Outlook), AIM, and etc. I think Gmail too, but probably nothing too huge.
