Specifically the boys, While playing as a girl (yes I have played as both) I felt like I could create varied and dynamic outfits. But with the boy, it seems like the best I can do just to make them look different. Both were studied in front of the ultimate weapon, I even made a couple gifs, Though I'm not sure they will gif correctly if I attach them to this post, worth a try anyway.

What is your guys opinion? If you could add something in as an available fashion, what would it be?

I should add that I love the feature, I just wish that it was more fun for guys to participate in as well.

Guys really need more styles. I usually play as a guy and was really disappointed with the style choices, so much that I switched to a girl. I do really like the dress shirts/ Lumiose Boutique Couture clothes for the guys though. Very hot. Very yes :P I also wanted more hair styles for the guys. Where's the awesome anime spiky hair?

I actually liked it. I found an outfit that I really liked and kept it on for the whole game once I got it. Camoflage beanies for the win.

idk, I've looked through the list of clothes and yeah the girls have more options but most of them are just recolors and the dresses don't look right to me so I never where them. But I see where you are coming from, i think they will add more in the next game I mean there was clearly a lot of data and change in this game, so I kinda let nintendo slide with this.

I'm never one to say this, but I do think it's a tad sexist. Just in the way that they assume only females want a bunch of different hairstyles and to dress up. Sorta seems like it was put in for the guys just to say it's there...I really would like more customization options. More hairstyles, mainly.

Thanks for your opinions, I have hopes that they will include a patch with the release of Ruby and Sapphire that could include more clothing options (I can dream right?) I think they could have released a sort of legendary series, which would include outfits of champions, gym leaders, and especially the player characters from the previous games, (I've seen the picture that shows off sets that resemble some characters, but its not the best) and maybe even other orginizations uniforms (who wouldn't want to look like a rocket, or aqua/magma member, or especially team flare)
I also think they should have created their own brand name clothes, which they then could produce and sell in reall life, (dress your trainer up, then dress like them with the new Unovan Braviary brand of shirt!) but that's just me.

I don't know. I mean, it's just your outfit, it doesn't really change anything. And, well, just like in real life, there is a bigger variety in female clothes than male clothes.
But, whatever, I guess a couple more clothes wouldn't hurt. And throw in some crazy hairstyles as well. Maybe the ability the make your hair any color, now THAT would be fun :D

I wish there was overally more customization options. There was very little hairstyles too. And I played as a girl and still coulnd't find clothes that would fit my character - they were all overly super duper adorabley... Looking at other games with customization option Pokémon is stil very far behind and that's a shame. I did really love this option and was very happy when they announced it but got very dissapointed when I started playing. :<

Eh, I didn't like most of the female clothes. They were all so feminine. Dresses and sleeveless tops with scarves and super short mini skirts. And all the ruffles. Eugh.

I would have loved to have a knit cap or a messenger bag or zipped shirt combo that the guys have.

I usually play with the male characters, so I do wish there had been more options for that, but really I was just happy to see the customization at all. We all know it's never been done in a Pokémon game before, and honestly in some Pokémon games I didn't like either design all that much.

I was disappointed by the lack of cloth for the guy, so I end up with a reset as a girl.
My friend think it would be nice if we had shirtless option for the boys, I approve of this ewe but generally the boy had way to few options, and most just felt like a boring recolor aswell >: with the bangs the girl got TONS of hair style options but only 4 for boys. Why couldn't they make some unisex clothing or let the girl wear boys cloth and the boy girls? now that would give more options!

I completely agree! I think it would be funny and wouldn't be indecent and give much more options if all clothes were unisex. There would be boys in dresses? So what? And I would totally use some of male clothes on my female character because they did fit much better...

To be fair, this was Nintendo's first go at customising a character in an RPG - something they've not done as far as I can recall. The fashion choices were a nice touch, but I just ended up making my character look like a slightly-grittier Red (with the torn jeans). I suppose X and Y carry the Pokémon tradition of having a better-looking design for the female character.
