Were you expecting R/S Remakes?

I think we all wanted them to exist, so I was expected nintendo to listen at some point. Although I never expected to come this fast after X/Y.

 

I honestly had a feeling they were going to come out, but I just didn't know when. I guess the main reason I thought it was coming was my hope that it would. Hoenn was my favorite region and I wanted to see it brought back.

 

They definitely came faster than expected, yeah. I desperately wanted them though, and so far ORAS has not disappointed!
I was hoping that they'd come, but I was about 50% confident haha.

 

Eventually, yes I knew they would come out. Maybe it's because of the high demand for the games.

 

I was pretty much 100% sure that the Hoenn remakes were going to be the next games. I mean, they weren't exactly subtle with the hints in X&Y, were they? I wasn't Hoenn-Confirming sure, but I was pretty sure

 

Yeah i was expecting them, also there were hints in X/Y, so it was pretty clear that the remakes were confirmed.

 

I was 95% sure it'd come eventually and couldn't be happier to find out that it was during the sixth generation. Remaking R/S with the fifth generation graphics wouldn't have been too impressive so I'm glad they waited as long as they did. Now we can see the gorgeousness of Hoenn in 3D. <3

 

I was actually expecting R/S remakes during Generation V. When B2/W2 came and no further main series games were released for that generation-followed by the announcement of X/Y, my expectations of Hoenn remakes fizzled out.

 

Actually, no, I didn't expect them. I got pretty pessimistic over it, thinking they only remade Generation I and II because their games were on a system that couldn't connect to newer games in any way.

But I did REALLY want them, and I'm super glad they're keeping the trend!

 

Sort of but not for a little while yet. They did some weird things in gen 5 with making sequels instead of remakes so I was half expecting them to drop remakes for a while.

 

You bet your Nosepass I expected remakes. It was inevitable given how RGB and GSC received respective remakes. Granted, I thought they would happen before XY, but it makes sense for them to come after instead of become the first main games for 3DS given their remake status.

 

It was something I had thought about, I wasn't so sure at first given that RSE had been games that could still have their Pokémon in them transferred to later games. But I wondered what it would be like to experience Hoenn in a 3D world with Wi-Fi and all the other things the DS brought us, so this was a nice welcoming.

 

I was never doubting there would be a R/S remake, Nintendo probably wanted us to shut up. I really am gonna enjoy the nostalgia from it though, being that 3rd gen/Sapphire was my first game.

 

Truthfully I didn't think they would be making a remake. I was always hopeful that they would someday make one for S/R/E and was super excited and a bit in disbelief when I found out through tumblr. (There were Pokémon memes of Hoenn popping up all over the dashboard with trumpets).

I am so happy they made a remake of the Pokémon games I absolutely adored.

 

I knew that they were going to happen in generation 6. I just kind of felt that it was going to happen.

 

I was kind of expecting RS remakes eventually, but I had no idea they would be announced so soon after XY! I was very surprised, but incredibly happy- I had a theory that they made XY as a sort of stepping stone for the RS remakes, at least graphics-wise, and I really love how much of a step up ORAS was to XY. I am glad we got the remakes though, they're a ton of fun!
