What antivirus program, if any, do you use? How reliable do you feel it is? Are you using a free or paid version? Maybe you're on a Mac and don't really feel the need to have one? Discuss!

We're using McAfee on our computer, it does the job, but it can also give us trouble too, I think it saw our internet connection as dangerous once xD

I use AVG, always have since is doing its job. Although a rare funny warning pops up now and then.

I'm using AVG antivirus. It's a pretty decent free antivirus program.

On my computers at home, I use Microsoft Security Essentials on my laptop and my secondary/media center desktop, and Avast on a computer that I set up for my mom to learn computer skills on. I had been using Avast on all my computers for several years, but thought it was crashing my laptop too often, so I removed it from all but one machine (which didn't really help my laptop, which still BSODs every once in awhile, and I can't seem to figure out why or how to prevent it from happenilng again-it's always in NTOSKRNL, and the STOP code is random-I hope it's not a hardware issue.) and replaced it with the aforementioned MSE.

I'm on a Mac so ClamXav is my choice. At first I had Avast! for Mac but that was a bit clunky and bothersome so people suggested I try ClamXav instead. It hardly uses any resources and feels as if it's not even there, which I love. I scan every few months to make sure there's nothing wrong (and there never is)!

The family computer downstairs is on Avira, if I remember correctly. I installed a ton of anti-malware and spyware programs on it as well paha.

My Mac doesn't need one because it's awesome 8) ...And because there aren't too many viruses out there for it yet. As for my Windows, I think it runs McAfee, though I can't remember if I uninstalled that or not since I know some program was preventing me from downloading Touhou games......

I use McAfee on my other laptop. It does its job well enough, no viruses so far haha. Can be a little wonky at times, but not often.

I'm using a program called Malwarebytes. Every once in a while I just let that thing clean up my computer, taking away all possibly dangerous things in the process. I haven't had a virus ever since I used it, so I don't need anything else :)
