What are you most excited for in the remakes?

Hopefully Megas for the Weather Trio and for the three starters, along with more awesome move graphics. I also would really enjoy it if the difficulties could be brought back to make the games more challenging for other playthroughs. I honestly just can't wait to see those new forms of Groudon and Kyogre (and hopefully Rayquaza) in game!

 

Pretty much the fact that Ruby/Sapphire were awesome generations. I don't understand people who say it wasn't a good gen.

The main thing I am looking forward to is battling. I was kinda late on X/Y, but I am gonna try and get it on the first day, so that I can beat the game fast and start battling. x)

 

I played through gen III more times than any other generation. I just want to be able to see that region again, but in 3D.
I also really want to see what they changed from the originals, and what they kept the same.
And I hope they include the Sevii Islands as post-game. I just really want to see that again, because we've only seen it in FRLG.
I'm also quite curious about what they did with the storyline. The distortion of the balance between land and water could result in some epic scenes.

Nah, just kidding, I just want Mega Milotic.

 

I'm hoping for a better experience than Ruby. I'm playing through Ruby now and so far, I'm actually struggling to remain invested. I've seen better GBA graphics, heard FAR better sound (again, in GBA games), and I think it was easier to train Pokémon in freaking Crystal version. I just want to learn about Team Magma for a fanfic I'm writing, so what I'm hoping for is an enjoyable, memorable experience in what a lot of people who aren't me keep claiming is one of the greatest Pokémon games ever. It would also be good for cementing that knowledge of Team Magma. Even if I have the luxury of experience, more moves, easy training and a physical-special split, I'd still hope to get the same good experience that other people had with the original games.

 

pretty much everything, I really loved the RSE generation. I hope we get to see some new mega evolutions and the hopefully redesigns of trainers as we have seen in the last few remakes. I think it brings new life to the characters when they bring an alternative design for them. The contest in full 3D is gonna be great too, or even more post game stuff we could do. like new areas as seen with the sevii islands.

 

I'm probably in a minority but I hope for contests to return, after all in gen 5 the removed ribbons entirely, but in gen 6 they brought ribbons back. so, there is a chance right?
other then that, there isn't anything else i'm super excited for, though the dive move, and the underwater over world could be interesting

I'm simply looking forward to another 3D Pokémon region xD I mean this time around we are sort of familiar with the region so it'll be interesting to have seen it in flat 2D and soon in 3D. I also agree with Tate; I'm looking forward to seeing if the experience is better than Ruby (but I'm sure it will be!)

 

Well... I'm excited to see if Sceptile and Swampert will get Mega Evolutions to go with Blaziken. I want to see if the mascot legendaries for the Gen III games get megas.
Also, I'm kind of excited to see if there will be a little bit of an overworld update. Kind of like how they did between Diamond/Pearl and Heart Gold/Soul Silver.

 

Anything really. I'm curious to see those new forms/mega evolutions of Groudon and Kyogre

 

More megas (Starters, legendaires, milotic, etc), more fairies (hopefully skitty), the 3d graphics will be beautiful with Hoenn's landscapes (can't wait for Sootopolis City ). I hope we get good character designs and that customizing returns but with things that better suit the more tropic Hoenn region. I either want more post game or the frontier to return or both if they see fit.
I want some more focus on Wally too, he was an interesting character and its a shame he didn't get more attention.

I would honestly be ok with the same story...but if they wanted I think they could make a new one. I would focus it on maybe the reawakening of the weather trio due ot the events of kalos (you'll know what I mean if you have finished the main story) If this happens they could make Wally a gym leader (fairy to be specific with his Gardevior) and then we could see what Hoenn has been up to in the past 10 or so years.

 

I'm excited about everything really. I'm trying not to predict much because I want as much of possible new content to be a surprise. A few new Pokémon might be nice since in X/Y there weren't nearly as many as the other Gen games, and this would be a great way to introduce some more.

I don't know if there should be mega legendaries though...Overpowered much? Though I can't deny it would be awesome.

 

I am looking forward to just play through Hoenn agian and love it for what it was, and new megas.....but yeah, can't wait to get a treecko!

 

I'm really excited for the games in general, since Gen III was my first Pokémon gen ever. I'm hoping that the other two starters will get megas, to be honest torchic was my least favourite. Also, I can't wait to see the Sky Tower in 3D. Oh, and the ability to rebattle trainers will be nice.

Contests for sure, each one of the side games feel less and less interesting. I think Contests were the best of those. Also, I hope they bring back the old Safari Zone as well as the Friend Safari, cause I liked the old safari Zones as well.

 

I'm really just exited for 3D Hoenn and the updated music. Sapphire being my first Pokémon game I think it will be cool to see my first region in 3D. I also really like the soundtrack of R/S so I can't wait to hear the new tracks!

 

I'm really curious about the storyline and the new changes of the gyms.

 

I'm super excited about the possibility of actually exploring the event islands this time (Birth Island, Mirage Island, etc.) now that most event items are distributed through Wi-Fi.

And I know most people don't care about this, but SECRET BASES. Maybe this time we can visit each other's bases via Wi-Fi and battle each other or exchange items! Fun, fun, fun.

Also, Diving spots. I think the underwater routes will look gorgeous in 3D, and hopefully they would improve the underwater music into something even more beautiful

 

I'm really looking forward to the secret bases as well I remember spending way too much time searching for the best base
