What are your initial reaction to HGSS?

I was hyped for it, but I don't think I was as hype as I am for the RSE remakes. Though one great thing was to have extra gym leader challanges. that is on of the best part of HGSS ;u;

 

I was super excited because i had never played the Johto games, Diamond and Pearl was where I really got into Pokémon though it had been a sproutling for a while before, so it was cool to have another game I could play

I actually wasn't into Pokémon that much back then

 

I really wasn't overly hyped as I had only just recently played Pokémon Gold at the time, but I was still really exited because c'mon... new Pokémon game!

 

I was more excited about the fact that it was new Pokémon games than it was remakes of games I had never played.

 

Tbh I never played Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. So remakes of Johto were new to me. I kinda learned that it was a remake when I saw that you could go to the Kanto region.

 

I loved it! I was so happy, and at the time I thought the trainer ripped off my style, Lol. And I was really excited for Pokewalker and your Pokémon following you.

 

I was super excited because at that point, Gold was still my favorite Pokémon game (though I ended up buying SoulSilver).

 

I wasn't all that excited, just like I'm not all that excited for the recent remakes announced. I don't get all that excited for remakes.

HG/SS did prove to be a lot better than I expected, though, with all the extra stuff at the end that G/S/C didn't have.

 

I was really excited, I owned and played both crystal and silver when they were released. When they announced it, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the games

 

When I saw a friend playing it, I thought 'Oh, that exists? Cool, I'll get it.'

And that's how I got back into Pokémon.

 

I didn't play the originals, but I was hyped enough to buy them (mainly because of the pokewalker) and I didn't regret it even once

 

I was like "No that get me it oh my god please please omg jesus christ....cheeses crust com on please!" i really wanted it xD
