I've always been a fan of Fantasy books. Seriously, I've read so many fantasy books, it's insane. (I didn't really have anything better to do back then).
And well, I'm honestly a bigger fan of paper books. Mainly because Ereaders work with a touchscreen, and me and touchscreens don't go together very well :D

Mostly, I read Fantasy and Sciene Fiction. Occassionally, I will read a Crime, Thriller or historical book but it really depends on what the book is about. When I do read Science fiction and Famtasy books, I like to read books that is about space travel, Magic, sword fighting, alternate realities, super powers and other things of that nature.

There's a huge difference between Fantasy and Science Fiction, and a lot of the time people get the two mixed up, so they definitely belong in two separate categories, but to answer the question, both! Science Fiction and Fantasy are my jam. My eye jam. 8)

when it comes to novels I tend to dislike series' xD'
especially incomplete ones because it takes a longgggg time for writers to write the next book
I prefer singular novels and poetry.
For genre my favorite thing would just be psychological themes. IE the main conflict is more of an inner conflict in the main character, instead of it being a fight against good vs evil/etc.

    Biographies, science fiction, historical fiction.

Books that have lots of action in them mainly, though.

Mostly medieval fantasy, but I do love historial stuff as well.

I also like really emotional stories - I want to feel pulled into a different world and really become connected to the characters I'm reading about.

As for themes, I'm mostly drawn to stories about redemption, betrayal, tragic love, forlorn hope, death and salvation.

I'm gonna be that freak who loves YA. Not the god-awful stuff though, and believe me, there is a lot of god-awful YA to be avoided. Everyone wants to be John Green. There is only on John Green for a reason, fellas.

I made the mistake of reading Rainbow Rowell's 'Eleanor and Park' and 'Fangirl' recently. Nothing is remotely as good. The woman singlehandedly wrecked the bookshelf.

I'm a fan of science fiction and fantasy, and I prefer to have a first person point of view. I also love a lot of detail (except for the fact that if a movie is based off of a book, all of the details are left out :L)

I love reading fiction, the parts that always get me are mostly the relatable characters that I feel I have something in common with and that intellectuality thrown in there ( And by that I mean whatever is going on in the book in there world) it's usually simple, but in more ways complex that still no matter what you understand, but it's much more deeper than one would think which makes it all the more intriguing. Personally the point of view doesn't really matter to me as long as you have the things I like in a good book (Which is a lot, but for the sake of this post I only put two basically).
