What do you use to make art? A program or do you do it on paper? Let us know!

I use just a pencil and paper sometimes, but most of the time I use Krita. I can't afford to buy a program, and since Krita is specifically made for artists (unlike GIMP) and free, I gave it a shot, and it works really well. Just as good as Paint Tool Sai, in my opinion. Only real down side is that it does crash a lot, and sometimes the autosave doesn't work, so you have to save every once in a while when you're drawing, but you should do that with any program just in case.
My tablet is Wacom Bamboo Create and Touch.

If I draw something, I just use paper and pencil, because I'm not a professional xD
The Pokémon Fusions I used to make a long time ago were all made in good ol' Paint, because well, they were all pixilated :P

I use GIMP to make signatures since photoshop is really expensive.

Well, for Traditional art I use a varity of Pencils (Mechanical for lines, regular for shading) pens, erasers, and paintbrushes. Yes, paintbrushes. They work wonders for getting the shading right.
for my digital work I use an app on my Pad called Sketchbook Pro. It's lovely and I love it. I have GIMP on my Computer for the little random stuff I may need to put together. and for Animations, but I rarly do those.

I generally use pencil and paper. I just like the feel of it, and it's easier for me to get flowing lines instead of broken and squared lines that a lot of digital programs do. I am going to try to do more digital art since I got a Wacom Bamboo tablet as my birthday gift; I was never good at trying to do those flowing lines with a mouse.

I use GIMP just for lightening or fixing parts of something. I don't use it to actually draw things though.

I generally first draw my stuff on paper then scan it into the computer and use Photoshop to colour it in. I also have a Wacom Bamboo tablet that I use.

I use pen and papers! I got lots of colored pencils and some different pencils for H9 to B9! when I have made a traditional sketch I scan them on my computer and then draw them digitally on Painttool Sai. I find PS to confusing, and my trail on CS6, the only one I have seemed to understand, has run out.
I got an old Bamboo one that I draw with. It's very small and old, I wish I had a new and better tablet.

I'd like to actually buy a full pack of fibre tip pens because I've seen some cool stuff done with it but whenever I scrape some change together it always goes to Steam so I'm back with Pencils, Ink and Watercolours. SAI and Black Ink are really cool programs for me but digital art is a lot harder to break into.

I've experimented in plenty of mediums like india ink, charcoal, and watercolor, but mostly I do digital art with Photoshop Elements 7 and Corel Painter Essentials 4 which both came with my Bamboo Splash Wacom tablet. I use Phothoshop to draw out the whatever I'm doing as well as some editing type things and I use Corel to color and shade everything because it's more like real painting where the colors blend together really well. I've used them both separately but I prefer using a combination cause both programs are good and bad at different things.

I use Photoshop rarely, and Gimp a whole lot more. If I want to do gifs I usually open up Photoshop since it handles them way better than Gimp. I prefer Gimp when it comes to gfxing because I'm more used to the interface.

For my digital art, I use Photoshop (a cracked version). For animated stuff, I use a combination of Photoshop and Fireworks (again, cracked). Occasionally, I draw things in my sketchbook, which I then scan into my laptop and edit with Photoshop. For drawings, I use a mechanical pencil, a mechanical eraser (yes, those are real things), and an assortment of pens.

I prefer to draw traditionally, but sometimes I line and colour my work in SAI. (I use a cracked version.)

I use Paint Tool Sai more than any other medium, and photoshop CS6 for effects if needed. When drawing traditionally I use Sakura Ink Pens and Copic Markers at times.

If I'm making a manga panel I use Manga Studio 5.

My tablet is an intuos 5 and its very comfortable to work with!

I hope it all helps! uvu
