Imagine if your life was a video game. Try to explain it here. Answer questions such as...

    1) What genre of game is this?
    2) What's the gameplay like?
    3) What's the basic plot?
    4) What's the setting?
    5) What kind of soundtrack does this game have?
    6) Does this game have any major plot twists?

feel free to add in other things as well. I'll try my own...

My life would be a real-time openworld puzzle game (specifically chess) that has aspects of a life simulator. It would focus around me, the main character. The gameplay is similar to a sandbox game in the sense that you can accumulate cash, but like in a life simulator you can do this by selling things and doing things to earn money. His goal is to become a chess grandmaster and you follow him on his quest. The bosses come in the form of chess players. You can do a whole load of other things, like interacting with other people to build relationships, pre-occupy yourself with TV, and so much more. Saving comes in the form of finding the nearest book (these are abundant) and reading. It has a diverse soundtrack. Plot twists come in the form of character's deaths and the guy's internal self conflict battle getting out of hand, leading to a psychological boss fight.

    1) What genre of game is this?
    Puzzle game

    2) What's the gameplay like?
You play as a member of a debate team and have to spend time both gathering sources and using those sources in debates. There would be small debates with people like his acquaintances on the debate team and the bullies at his school, and every so often there would be much larger debates at school tournaments, which would serve as "boss battles". As you move through the game, you gain access to more sources, but the debates also beocme less intuitive and more tricky. Debates would be won by selecting the correct claims in the correct order and using the right sources to back them up.

    3) What's the basic plot?
An incredibly intelligent but socially distant teen is on his school debate team. Treated like a child because of his lack of social grace, he finds escape solely in searching for knowledge and becoming more and more learned. As the game goes on and more sources are acquired, the main character becomes more and more intelligent but also more arrogant and cold, expressed through cutscenes and dialogue. He moves through the ranks of debate (local tournaments to states to regionals to nationals), and, right before he goes to an international debate tournament, he realizes he has alienated everyone he once cared about by choosing knowledge over social interaction. This causes him to have a mental breakdown, leading to the final boss, who is a twisted, altered version of himself within his own mind. After winning his debate with himself, he effortlessly sweeps the international debate scene, becoming a sort of pseudo-celebrity, but chooses to stay at home and repare his broken social life.

    4) What's the setting?
Small-town Rhode Island to start. As he moves up through the tournaments, he also moves to different places (from his small town to Providence, RI to Boston, MA to Chicago, IL to London, England).

    5) What kind of sound track does this game have?
A sort of soft but upbeat sort of feel, not unlike those in the beginning of Pokémon games or those found in dating simulators. During the psychological boss fight, it switches to an eerie acoustic piano track.

    6) Does this game have any major plot twists?
Aside from the sudden mental breakdown, no.

What genre of game is this?

Fantasy turn based RPG in the vein of classic Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest with a dash of Zelda and Ar tonelico

    What's the gameplay like?

Basically a good ol' fashioned heroic quest through a vast world, with a ton of sidequests and a cast of memorable characters

    What's the basic plot?

A spell-singing minstrel sets out on an urgent quest to rescue her sister, but soon learns that the dark lord threatens to destroy the world. The only way to stop him is to sing the Song of Awakening, which has only been heard once at the dawn of time.

    What's the setting?

Your standard issue classic far away land.

What kind of soundtrack does this game have?

Lots of Celtic-inspired music, with jazz, Asian and Latin influences

Does this game have any major plot twists?

The jewels our heroine thinks will save her sister prove to be components to the Song of Awakening--our heroine's spellsongs are sung in a language similar to Hymmnos
