What inspired you to create the characters you did? Was it just something that came off the top of your head, or did something inspire you to create a certain character(s)?

its hard to describe where all my OCs came from. Brant has been with me the longest and I guess he sort of reflects the definition of manly man and attractiveness to me? He kind of grew from what I personally found super sexy and attractive over time  other characters I have usually start from a doodle, or an idea i really feel need to solidify into a character. Characters like Eiffel and Cardiff kinda sprung from this - Eiffel grew from a doodle of a sharp toothed drug addict, and Cardiff sprung up from toying with the idea of a satyr bard. I'm actually pretty good at coming up with characters on the spot! A lot of my characters have really grown through out the years as well, and I'm currently having fun going back and reviving and redesigning old characters. Honestly my OCs were kinda taking a backseat before I came to LV and started to RP again! OCs are precious.

What inspired me to make OCs? Or what inspired me to make my OC's personalities and lives the way I did? The first one idek. They just kind of came spontaneously lol.

Some of my OCs were part of a band in their teenage years (yes I have like a timeline of their lives plotted out). That was most definitely inspired by K-On :P

I dunno what really inspired the rest of my OCs (I have like 30...). Mostly collisions of animes and real life. Normally I'm horrible at things or I hate things like piano and swimming so I make my OCs actually enjoy/good at the things I suck at. It's weird and it doesn't make me hate piano any less but in my head it's nice to think that someone else could actually be having a good time. Personalities came with the interests and character designs I substitute with the designs of other characters in animes and fanart since it's all in my head anyways.....

My OCs basically live the life I wish I could live if I was smart, talented, had unlimited freedom and sometimes magic powers :P

One of mine is based off what I wish I was like, she being a very strong character who isn't afraid of danger. She also doesn't try to please anyone (I realize this is kind of a bad thing, but I struggle with putting myelf before others and have been hurt several times because of it)
My other is opposite of me, being very antisocial and stubborn. So I guess all of mine are based on myself in some way or another.

Hmm, what inspired my characters? Hard to really say as I never really based it off of anything really. Jarzair just came to me, and he is just the total opposite of what I am and how I am. He is a very dark individual, which I'm not, but there are some similar personality traits between him and I. He is the dark to my light, and I guess if I am in the dark days, it kinda feels like I'm him when I'm thinking dark. It's probably a no wonder I am so good at using him and everything. The appearance of him, I just wish I could actually dress like that and everything(almost like a cosplay), there's just so much I like about him, I just love using him. As for Akio(LFW), he is actually quite similar to Jarzair in a way, but I guess a bit nicer and things. Both characters are just really cool characters I love to use, and most of the profiles I thought of while in church or during school, when I can jot idea's down for them. Last but not least, Kazumi(LFW), I didn't have as much of time to use Kazumi as I thought I would, but she just came into my head, just like the other two. Kazumi is kinda like my personality in a way(I'm a guy, she's a girl, so what), cause I am a very sweet person, and I can act girlish irl at times, so she kinda fits it. I'm thinking of possibly using Jarzair in his own story maybe, if it can work...I have my poem of Jarzair's perspective of the past, which would go great for the story in a way...as for Akio and Kazumi, there may be a time I can use them again in the future, that goes for Jarzair too. I love doing these RPs, but only with the characters I have with me, I've made enough ^_^ Like I said, these characters came to me, no based off of anything, just characters who took a lot of time to think about and image.

My OCs are all based off really random things. I always try to find a unique niche for them to fit into and make a character based on what's required. Atari for example is a bit of a waste of space, but he's good at filling up the "idiot" role. Originally he was a substance abuser for an RP I was in when I started roleplaying.
I tend to make a new character in every RP I'm in, because it helps me keep the RPs separate. I love developing a character. Finding the flaws in them, and either making them work on improving, or play with the flaws and make them into something useful.
I love roleplaying! It let's me act out different aspects of my personality :3

My one and only OC Destiny, from my fanfiction, is mostly just based on my own imagination. For some reason, I knew from the beginning that the character should be female, I don't know why xD She has the cool, badass attitude that I wish I had :P I think that might be the best explanation overall, she has mostly the personality I wish I had.

most of my OC's doesn't really have any specific inspirations, I just like to doodle designs and then I take those I really like and make them OC's and then comes personalities. Some are just made for the reason to draw violently or gore while other might have other purposes, it's not often I try to do a theme, but I seem to have a thing for characters with horns, so I guess that's a theme for me? I have used some of the for original RP's which I enjoy to do and is my way to try develop personalities for the different characters. My OC Julius is set as a huge coward which I should perhaps give a make over to illustrate better.

I have too many characters to try and explain them all.

I guess I should start with Espeonbird, she was my first real 'OC'. At first she was just the character to represent me but I started to develop her during roleplays and a comic I created on the first ever forums I was part of.

She began as a happy and silly character; always falling over and dealing with trouble in the strangest ways. Eventually she developed into a more calm character, and more quiet.

I've decided to keep her like that - a kind of calm and wise, somewhat sarcastic character. Its somewhat a kind of respect for her being my oldest character.

My characters are little pieces of my interests, daydreams, or otherwise just tidbits of my mind that flourish when they have the chance, sometimes combining interests and the like to add depth. My first roleplay character, an alien mercenary named Flank, loves collecting guns that he finds. This comes from my similar interest in collecting weapons and modifications in games where you have the opportunity to do so. The only period of history I'm interested in is that of the Nazi regime, and as such I have an angel character who used to be a nurse in that period of time, and she's my most complex character due to how many links I can make between real history and this fictional afterlife. I'm considering making another character for this roleplay based off my newfound interest in plague doctors. That's just how they come about.

My explanation is pretty close to everyone else's haha, a lot of my characters are inspired by Pokémon, Disgaea or some of the stranger anime characters I see. I also get inspired for characters by inanimate objects and I love making monster-based humanoids. Originally, creating a lugia gijinka was honestly just for fun at first but then she grew on me. I didn't even know it was called a gijinka back then! I admit I have more characters then I know what to do with, but I just want to keep making more!

tbh, I have an oc that started as a Typlosion gijinka too but she grew on me and had her design altered a lot on the go. so far she is the only one of them.

My OC's are random. Usually they start out as names I like and then I draw their faces and stuff.

I can't say my OC's are inspired off of anyone...
They just kinda... Appear. Out of no where.
