We all draw our inspiration to create new things from something, even if we don't realize it at first. When developing a new game, what inspires you? Is there a certain song that made you think of a new gaming concept, or a beautiful image of a landscape that helped form the foundation of one of your own game's designs? Is there a certain character in an anime or show that inspired you to base a character or NPC in one of your games? The types of inspiration are endless, similar to the ideas one can come up with. What inspires your gaming creativity?

Since i am a sucker for fantasy and RPGs, I mainly study fantasy novels and successful games in those genres to understand what works, what doesn't work, and what cliches I can subvert, invert, and avert (and a few to play straight) as I make my own games

Most of my OCs for game ideas and fanfictions (based on games) are based on Shiro from No Game No Life.
You can see her wiki page here, albeit there's some stuff I don't base my OCs off of from her. But she's a big influence on my characters.

Music. The one thing that leads to all the rest.
