Are you interested by the sciences, religion, philosophy? Do you get absorbed by the arts, or the complexities of mathematics?
Are there people that leave you wondering, or actions people take? Tell us about what gets you thinking and, well, intrigues you!

Religion and history are examples for me personally! Faith in general, the stories of people who experience religion differently, stories of creation and the figures associated, etc. Wars and historical figures, the changes that occur over time and the reasons for them. I love learning about things relating to religion and history purely out of interest and also as sources of inspiration, among a few other smaller reasons.

    What about you guys?

    Everything. Everything intrigues me.

I'm one of those people who loves to soak up useless knowledge just for the sake of knowing things. I feel almost a compulsion, or an itch-like feeling, to always be asking questions about everything I see and hear to further understand things better. I will try and learn more about anything and everything around me. Nothing makes me feel more fulfilled than acquiring new knowledge. For this reason, school always frustrated me, since it promoted passing classes rather than actually learning anything important or useful, or really anything at all.

I suppose one thing in particular that intrigues me the most is human nature, both in an applicable study and in a philosophical sense. I picked up a keen interest in psychology and how the human mind works a few years ago, and I found that the things I learned actually were applicable in everyday conversation with others. I enjoy having a conversation with someone and being able to immediately begin putting together a picture of who they are.

Human nature for me likewise has always been interesting. Our behaviors, patterns in behavior that we may or may not realize, our motivations for doing all these things... so psychology is definitely in there. Its just really interesting, because out of anything this world has, humans always manage to do the weirdest and craziest things.

People intrigue me. Human emotions, behaviours, thought patterns... What influences these emotions, why they behave and think in a certain manner... That's only just the beginning. There's so much that I don't know and I aim to find out more. That's one of the reasons why I chose to major in Psychology as my course.

I am intrigued by many things - as I live in a world that is constantly changing and growing as I act and react with it, there are many things that change and grow that I have the opportunity to observe - most notably being human beings.

I am certainly akin to @[member="Synerjee"] in this matter. Human beings, they fascinate me truly - their actions, their motives, their underlying reasons, their goals, and their thought processes. Watching them make their choices, and trying to figure out the reasons behind them, is a wonderful challenge in and of itself. I have yet to truly 'crack the code' with humans, so to speak, and the missing piece is their emotions. As I act primarily in a straightforward and somewhat rigid manner, and emotions are constantly fluctuating, it is hard for me just to comprehend emotion, let alone explain the actions fueled by them. I would like to truly figure that out one day, but that may be a long while yet before I do.

In addition, I am fascinated by science and the natural world. As I love to see patterns in things, I will oftentimes be enthralled in the kinds of patterns I will see in natural life (number of appendages, colourations, movements, behaviours, stimulus/reaction pairs...and the list goes on). I like to approach life as a series of constructs, figures, and numbers - and while it is hard to boil everything down to just that, it isn't impossible, and does make for a very intriguing perspective. I suppose it is my small background and experience with chemistry that jades me so, but it is a perspective I enjoy seeing through.

Though, by far what fascinates me most is what I like to term 'thought exercises' - potential scenarios, hypothetical or real, that really force me to think and form definite answers towards (a more recent one I have had to tackle is "What does it really mean to love?", and it stretched my mind immensely, in ways that surprised even me). This can involve difficult questions as to 'life's mysteries', as they are so called, explaining the rationale behind things, or it could even be delving into a fantasy world, trying to make sense of that universe's rules and see how much the realm of 'theoretically possible' can be expanded. I find the scenarios like these to be the most fun (I will admit that I find the fantasy dissection a bit more fascinating than real-life dissection, but that is just my bias), and while I may not get much out of it for myself, it does help me to see how fictional worlds are created, and the logic that works through it and behind its scenes.

The mind and the imagination are utterly wonderful creations, aren't they?

Something that hits my curiosity and my humour are what intrigue me. Countless times you'll find me and a good friend of mine who has trouble understanding human interaction, emotions, and thought processes just sitting in my truck and I'll explain these things to him. Countless times I'll do things cause I find them funny. I stayed up until one in the morning making home made bread for a friend and gave it to her at eight in the morning because I found it funny. It small things that hit those emotions that I find interesting. Also food. I love finding hole in the walls around the island

Something that has had my fancy for over three years now is the thought of Paranormal hunting. There's just something about it that seem interesting to me. I always watch the Ghost Hunter type tv shows as well as things along the lines of Paranormal Witness. I guess the thought of being in a creepy place asking for communication with the other side seem to be thrilling.

Definitely human nature, watching people is always an experience. It does take a whole bunch to make a world.

Science intrigues me; namely Physics, Astronomy, and Chemistry. That being said, technology intrigues me. Just when you think there's a limit or cap, we're discovering more. Video games intrigue me, as does music (listening rather than playing, although I could always give it a go someday). An unpopular one that intrigues me is politics. I love discussing theories and so called "conspiracy theories". A lot of my political views are pretty controversial. Cultural History is pretty interesting, as well as Geography. The list goes on, this is merely a general idea of what I'm about.

Science, particularity Biology, has always interested me. I love learning about things about the human body and how what we do can affect how it functions. I think life is so amazing, so to see how everything works down to the cell really gives me joy. Life gives me life. Also, shopping gives me life.

Science, particularly Astronomy. Space is so large. Is it infinite? Is it not? If it isn't, what does the edge look like? It's so interesting. I love seeing the size of things, really. Like, there's nebulas that are 3 million light years in size. To put that into perspective, 1 light year is roughly 5,878,499,810,000 miles. (9,460,528,400,000 km) It's just so cool, how things so incredibly astonishing actually exist, and are somewhere out there, and I want to see that.

Space completely fascinates me. I don't profess to know what makes x or y happen in space, but simply hearing news on Pluto, Mars, other explorations and indeed mentions of solar systems beyond our celestial neighborhood intrigue me to no end. I'd even daresay that nothing on earth aside from prehistory has fascinated me more than the blanket of stars beyond our tiny ball of dust suspended in a sunbeam.

The extent of the universe just astounds me and it makes my brain hurt, so I tend to not think about it. But still... look at all there is in space. We are TINY! We are so small and meaningless compared to the rest of the universe it is not even funny.

Science is the thing that really makes me wonder. Particularly Biology, Chemistry and Physics (Quantum mechanics). Imagine a code of 4 molecules being the secret to life, or the fact that someone comes to you and tell you that electrons are not just particles that we know but they're also waves. It's really something to look forward to
