Be it a risk in injuring yourself, your parents uncovering a dark secret, or something that could change someone's view of you forever? What's the most dangerous or risky thing you've ever done? Do you regret doing it? Did you succeed without any consequences? What did you do it for? Tell me about your daring choices!

The most risky thing I've done was come out to my parents about my depression and asking for therapy sessions. I was really scared, and worried their opinions of me would change forever. While they didn't change too much, they do make different comments to me now... (Not all good ones.) But I did it because I had to, because I ran out of excuses for why I wasn't doing my homework. (The real reason being, my depression making me shut down) I don't exactly like the subtle changes in my treatment around others but I am glad I am slowly getting the help I need. It was a risky endeavor!

The most daring thing I've done...

Rode a ripstik down a steep hill. then jumped off halfway down.

It was 2 summers ago. My brother and my 2 younger cousins had this thing of riding down the highschool hill with whatever they had. This day they had: A scooter (going to the youngest), A ripstik (owned and going to my brother), and my bike (being borrowed by my other cousin). They went down a couple of times, coming back uninjured. The next time, I went with them. My brother suggested that I used my bike so I wont hurt myself, but my cousin said I'll be fine using the ripstik considering I'm a pro at using it. So after they came to an agreement, my brother left, so it was just me and my cousin. I started down the hill, feeling confident and having fun, until speed was being picked up. I jumped. I landed the jump, but the ripstik knocked me over.

I had busted my lip to where it nearly needed stitches, Had a wound on my left elbow (now just a scar) and on my left knee (also now just a scar).

I honestly don't regret this because it was fun, it made my childhood feel 'alive'. And I chose to do this because I was bored and was envious of how much fun 'the boys' were having.

Mine will probably sound extremely lame in comparison to everyone else's, though it was a risk for me. It was basically sneaking onto the Internet to play games and go on forums when my parents weren't aware. This behavior started in my teenage years, and went on for another 5 of secrecy, and I didn't mention anything to anyone about it until a full 5 years later, when I was an adult. I was rather nervous, I'll admit, but at that point I was old enough to not really care, and I would have continued on as always regardless of the reception. (As it turns out, my parents were fine with it.)

I'm sure many people here have done this (or are still doing this), but the large reason this is the riskiest/most daring thing I've done is because I am not a risk-taking individual. I'm extremely conservative in my actions and don't like to do anything if I don't think the risk justifies the reward. Then again, due to my prior negative experiences with Internet chat forums in the past, I suppose my joining Lake Valour in the first place was a huge gamble - one which I have sadly yet to justify.

I think the riskiest thing I've ever done was probably break into my own house. I jumped the fence and climbed through the window. Needless to say, we replaced those windows. At the time, I had locked myself out, and it was super hot outside with my grandmother waiting. I had no idea if I could get into the house or not, but I had to try.

Once, I went hiking on this narrow one foot trail that was at the top of about a 200-foot cliff. Trust me, it is an experience I would rather not remember. There were members in my group who were crying because of how scary it was.
