What do you think the most underrated Pokémon is? I don't know, and I want to give it the respect it deserves. And please don't say Pikachu.

Goodness, considering the fact that there are more than 700 Pokémon, there are bound to be a ton of underrated ones. Rampardos is one that immediately comes to mind, seeing as his STAB Head Smash does so much damage, it's not even funny (for your opponents at least, it's pretty funny to me). Floatzel and Serperior are a couple of others that I like, Serperior is a great 'mon ingame, and has a fantastic design. Floatzel has a pretty good Attack and Speed stat, and can make a great sweeper in competitive, while being rather useful ingame.

A couple more than come to mind are Scolipede, Aerodcatyl, Vanilluxe

I think a rather underrated Pokémon is golruk , with ots amazing defenses and attacks as welk as no guard , it can put a heavy dent on a team.

A very underrated one is roserade however , it has a great special defense stat , aswell as a powerfull partner to eviolite core with its stage 0 paired up with chespin and its stage 1.

I think durant is unloved for the sake of being a bug type that doesn't evolve
It has steel as well and it is a strong fighter for a little guy.
Those are good qualities on paper.

I think a lot of rock Pokémon in general are underrated. For me, my answer would probably be Relicanth. I'm not a competitive gamer so I can't speak for how it's used in battle but I do think the combination of Rock and Water is just great XD (same with Corsola, but it's not nearly as awesome as Relicanth).

I think that title would have to go to Stunfisk. Honestly I can think of a lot more: Dunsparce, Sudowoodo, and the Lake Trio are honorable mentions.

I really think Garbodor is underrated just because of his looks. He's an awesome Pokémon and I love him so much yet very few others seem to think the same way. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Personally, I think Scraggy lines is one, because it seems pretty uncommon to be used in battles, but it still have pretty good moves like Drain Punch. Combine it with Moxie ability, and it could become a force to reckon with.

this may or may not be the case now, but i when I did competitive play about a year ago I remember everyone choosing talonflame over staraptor. I think staraptor gave more damage than talonflame while still being faster than everything else

An underated Pokémon for me is teddiursa. Okay people hear me out on this one. The silver league on youtube covered this one so to see where I'm coming from check out this
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1-mY4DpqL8

Tediursa is one of the most useful Pokémon I have and is the crux of my pickup team. A pickup team allows you to quickly pick up items that can be useful in game and essential for setting up for competitive. Not only that but it makes training Pokémon easier WHILE farming for items. Need a heart scale? no problem, you'll get many of them without having to fish. It can also allow you to do a 3rd thing at the same time, horde shiny hunt. Imagine. you need to EV train a Pokémon, get free items, and hunt a horde shiny you want? This Pokémon WILL make it possible to do all at once regardless of what game you are in. I have found 10 destiny knots and 10 leftovers over the course of a grand total of 3 weeks of searching, (counting day on which I hunted not actual time) Now the results may very but for me as a breeder and collector, this Pokémon shines.

My other Pokémon is bibarel. Now hear me out on this one too. Bibarel is a great hm slave and no one can argue that use. But have you ever had a moody battle? You basically fight in battles where random stat changes turn the whole battle into a fun game of chance. You never no what will happen. And hey what do you know? Bibarel's hidden ability is, yup you guessed it, moody! Besides the thing is actually kinda cute and come on? Can you really hate this goof ball?

Bibarel, of course! What a wonderful HM slave. Cut, strength, surf, waterfall, rock smash, etc. I feel like he could learn ANY HM move besides the flying-type ones. Good ol' Bibarel. . Don't discredit him! I feel bad because people are always shading him and Bidoof. Why?? Is it their appearances?

I'm going with Venusaur, I feel everyone else picks Charizard and Blastoise over the lovable green giant. It has a decent move pool, great special attack and special defense stats and with it's Mega Evolution gaining Thick Fat Mega Venusaur can really take a hit and can be a devastating tank in certain battles.

It depends on how you frame the question, for sure, but if you're targeting specifically Smogon OU there's a lot of neat Pokémon that have cool tools to use that don't see much play, like Scolipede and Staraptor. As mentioned above, Staraptor is kinda 'meh' when Talonflame is around, but the dual-Brave Bird core to punch holes in teams is a lot of fun if you've never tried it. :]

I'd say Swellow. It's actually kind of a cool design and useful ingame.

I also agree with others on this thread that Scolipede is very underrated.

Beedrill is underrated. Don't think anybody realizes how powerful Beedrill can get later on. It's defense might not be the greatest, but attack is just wowww

Been playing with a Druddigon in-game, and it's been my team's all star. It hits really hard and isn't very easy to take down. It can even do some nice work in competitive play.

I would have to say Raichu, he gets over shadowed by Pikachu and is left behind without people noticing. It's speed and attack stat aren't bad, I just used one in my Wonderlocke and I have to say it was a force to be reckoned with. I feel like it will come back into light with its alolan form but using plain raichu is barely seen anymore.

I mean, I'd steer clear of a Lanturn if I were you, I 've seen that thing really hurt a lot of teams and if you can see someone who plays a Lanturn well on a decent team, you'll be caught off-guard. Other Pokémon like Malamar are also very scary, although they are much more of a gimmick Malamar should definitely not be pushed over, saying that this all depends on the hands of the player, if they're not as good, you'll see them as much less of a threat, although that same rule goes for everyone!
