what is the scariest enemy you ever met

The redeads in the zelda series scared me when I was younger they don't anymore but I still have dreams about them

 

Slenderman. Can't outrun him, can't fight him, you just die. Also, that face.

The one thing I dread on Halo, the Flood XD. I was playing Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on the Master Chief Collection, and I just got to the mission with the Flood being released. My god the insanity and freaking out till I got the shotgun XD.

 

Absolute Virtue from Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia. Looks & colours can be very deceiving. * Goes & cries about how long it took her to beat it *

 

What about me?

 

Bees: Any game that features hostile bees or beehives, but special mention goes to Super Mario Sunshine and Animal Crossing for having really uncanny-looking bees. It doesn't help that the ones in the latter series seem to grow more realistic-looking with every game.. To this day, I don't shake non-fruit trees in my town, even if it means no bagworms to complete the Bug Guide with. ;;

Spiders: The ones in Minecraft don't sit well with me, to the point where I can't even look at pictures of them without cringing. The tarantulas in Animal Crossing are also pretty unsettling to me. The arachnorbs in the Pikmin series are en exception, though, since they don't look enough like spiders to trigger arachnaphobia (and I actually quite like Man-at-legs for being a mechanical spider).

 

*shivers* .. need I say it.. the piano from Super Mario 64 *cries in a corner*

 

The Great Mighty Poo

Either the berserker or Kryll from the first GOW game.. It took me months to beat the story cuz I could not get the balls to keep playing on

 

This bastard right here from Rayman 3, he not only looks scary, you have to beat him in 4 different phases :/

I have a faint feeling that @[member="Raptor98"] will laugh at me, but Tetsucabra. ;_; I'm really not looking forward to fighting it again in the actual game instead of just the demo, haha.

 

Sephiroth!

That huge freaking one-winged angel is freaky and is really really tough to kill. I might really like the music, but man that is a scary dude.

 

The worst enemies I faced were in Amnesia: The Dark Descent!

My sister, best friend and I were playing it and they forced me to play one of the scariest areas in the horror game! I had to play the water passage with the invisible monster and it's the absolute worse since you can't see the bound to be fugly monster!

Another one is the monster that lurks the halls within the castle you are stuck in. The ghoul? It has a gaping maw and a deformed hand that has steel bits sticking out of it.

*shudders* Gosh, I hate this game

 

Ghetsis from Pokémon BW. He really, legitimately terrified me. I mean, he's delusional sociopath who ADMITS he's gonna try and kill you in Pokémon B2W2, and I'm not afraid to say it, he terrifies me.

 

XCOM: Enemy Unknown's Sectopods. Whenever I hear that "whirrrrr, THUD... whiirrrrr, THUD... whirrrr, THUD..." I start losing my cool.
Why, you ask? 'cause they're walking one-robot SQUAD-KILLERS, that's why!! And they take forever to kill, themselves!

And they made them even WORSE in Enemy Within by giving them the Hardened trait, which makes them take half damage from all sources and ALWAYS count as being in at least half-cover! WHYYYYYY?!?!

 

As much as I wanna say every boss in Metroid Fusion, because I felt helpless against every single one of them, the one that sticks i my memory is Serris, this giant virus-possessed sea serpent thing.




You definitely feel uneasy entering the main tank room where you find the skeleton of the thing laying there, lifeless, while the game doesn't make a sound. You enter the second room, knowing shit's about to go down, carefully traversing a pool of water then- DEAR GOD WTF! He just starts flying all over the place with the crazy high-tension boss music while you're trying to recuperate from your heart attack and now panicking, trying to figure out the bastard's weak point.

Guh...Point is, that entire game is filled with tension and creepy, creepy scenarios (SA-X, that thing is scury), but Serris definately takes the cake.
