What is your favourite Gen?

I've gotta give it to Gen 6. I started playing with Gen 1 and that was my favorite for the while. However, Gen 6 is so beautifully done, I have to give it to the current generation. Very impressed with X/Y and OR/AS so far.

 

4th. I love all of the Pokémon in Gen 4, and not only that....I thought 4th gen had awesome games. Plus Diamond was the first Pokémon game I have ever played.

 

Generation 2, because it features my two favorite regions; Johto & Kanto!

 

I love all generations but 1th will forever have a special place in my heart cuz I grew up with it

 

Generation V for me, bar none. With two games, one with a plot that really drives it home and has a unique Pokédex listing, and the other having plenty of content, there is so much in this generation that I just absolutely love. I don't think i'll ever get tired of the games from it.

 

I love generation 2 but I also like generation 3 because of the contest/coordinators T^T

 

I love generations 4 and 5 heaps. They feature a lot of my favourite Pokémon as well as have amazing plots and content. I can't say much about gen 6 as I haven't played X/Y and ORAS yet, but it could very well be a future favourite.

 

Hoenn or Unova.
Hoenn because it's really the first "legit" Pokémon game I've played, besides when I borrowed silver from someone.
Unova because I'm biased towards my hometown~

 

Gen 3 ftw (Emerald <3~), it was the first one I got bought for myself, I played before the older ones but that game really captivated me from the first minutes lol
Even though I like also Gen 5 a lot, gen 3 will be always special for me ; ), loved the history, the scenary and new features it'd bring~

 

really am impressed by gen 6. oras and x and y has been really fun, but alas community's can hurt it sometimes, But hey every community has it's flaws. gen 6 has a lot of stuff going on in them imo then the older gen's, so it's pretty nice.

 

3rd or 6th gen, i really like the starters and maps!

 

The third and fifth.. they're very special to my heart. Hoenn because it introduced some of my all-time favorite Pokémon and since I loved R/S/E so much as a kid, and Unova for the awesome story and non-playable characters. All the regions are amazing though so it's a tough choice, blargh.

 

Its so close between 4th and 5th gen. I love them both SO much! 5th gen is full of super memorable things for me and gen 4 is just plain fun.

 

Gen 4//Sinnoh, because it reignited my obsession with Pokémon when Diamond and Pearl came out.

 

I would have to say both gen 2 and 4, the starters are cute and I overall like both the terrains for the regions~

 

Personally, I really love the 4th generation. Although pretty slow, a bunch of amazing characters and Pokémon came about such as Cynthia, Looker, Lucario, (my personal favorite) Togekiss, and so much more. I love the music and how it pretty much changed Pokémon for the better with the physical/special split.

 

I love all the Pokémon generations, but gen 4 is hands down my absolute favorite. The only one that even comes close is gen 5 or 6.
