What is your heritage?

I mean I could give you the normal white guy answer and give percentages of every single one, but I'm pretty sure no one cares about all of them. I'm mostly German and Spanish. Surprisingly I'm also Filipino, but I don't look it

 

English and a tiny little bit of other countries such as french guinea (only other nationality i know of) and possibly a tiny tiny bit of sudanese(depending on the mess of the family tree I have in that area). I was born in england

 

I'm Scottish, Irish and German (beer ftw amirite?) and I was born in America.

 

I'm Italian, Latin-American, and a bit of Hispanic & was born in Italy.

 

I'm Chinese and was born in Malaysia. My parents were also born in Malaysia, but my grandparents were from China. I'm therefore identified as a Malaysian Chinese.

 

I basically define myself as a Pakistani American, meaning that I was born in the US.

 

Pure Finnish Baby! I may have some Russian roots, but its like 1/60 of me xD

 

I am Irish, Norwegian, and German.

Irish: Family were potato farmers. My great, great grandpa got kicked out of every pub he could go to in Ireland. When the farm failed, he moved to America.

Norwegian: Only history we know about this side of the family is that they were vikings.

German: Here, I can split it into two because I have a German line and a Prussian line. For the Prussian line, where my surname originates, I descend from a house of lords that were murdered at night by a family member when he was refused to be allowed to marry a farm girl he fell in love with and became a shoemaker. As for the other side of the German heritage, they were with the Nazi's in WWII. I descend from Claus von Stauffenberg, who tried to kill Hitler. He was my great uncle.

So my heritage is Malay and Dutch as my mother is a Malaysian and my father is from Netherlands and is a pure Dutch man. I was born in Malaysia but I've been exposed to both cultures (and man, they contrast so greatly!) as well as two religions [ my family is muslim while my grandparents and some of my dad's siblings are {still} Christians while one brother is a free thinker ]

My aunt actually checked out our family history and turns out my linage can be traced far, far back. The more recent - and more interesting tidbit - is that we are connected to a royal family that was chased out of the palace because of the Dutch.

Okay so this will be fun. I'm part, irish, polish, scottish, swedish, german, french, lithiwanian, cherokee indian, and we are still finding more so I'm basically a mutt! On the german side, I'm descendeded from one of the brothers of the composer, Franze Schubert (where I got my surname). Other than that we're still getting the details. True story, my parents are basically distant cousins. It would definatelly explain a... em... few things.

 

NATIVE PRIDE, baby.

My family is a melting pot. From my mom's side I have english, Australian and scottish. From my dad's side, I have Irish, scottish, english, french (just a little) and Shawnee (a native american tribe).

Though I have French royalty in my bloodline (i forget which king, it's been awhile since i looked at that line) and from William the Conqueror, I am most proud of my Shawnee heritage.

 

I was born in the US and am mostly Dutch and German.

 

We were born in, and live in Australia while everybody else in my entire family (excluding three baby cousins) are from Lebanon. We look both Australian and Lebanese, but we have a slight American accent (how could that be?), or so everybody tells us. We're also far distantly Turkish, relating to King Agha from the Ottoman Empire. So basically, we're descendants of a king, but I don't really mind who my ancestors are. My village in Lebanon is Anfe, a beautiful, small, peaceful and friendly town with hardly any problems. It's very historic, containing the first church and sites from the Crusade war.

I'm actually surprised to see that there is a large variety of people in this Forum site! I thought everybody would be from one country, but I guess I was wrong.

 

I don't really know much about my heritage since I haven't been very involved with my family at all, but from what I know I'm predominantly English and Scottish, on my father's and mother's side respectively. There might be more to me but when and if I find out about it is a MyStErY

 

My Heritage is mostly spanish I have some royal heritage from my mother side and from my father's side I'm a desendant of the conquistador and admiral Cristobal de Alfaro
Also there are a citie in spain with my father last name and another with my mother last name
