What kind of battler, are you?

I go all out speed and attack/special attack for basically everything. The way I view it, I play to have fun, and 200 turn defensive crap definitely is boring.

 

I am a mix of all of these actually. I play Pokémon casually in my free time and when I make competitive teams I like to use offensive and defensive strategies. It just depends on what type of team I'm in the mood for.

 

I'm a very offensive trainer. I really love to attack anyone and anything, hoping for the best hit xD
I only have a few Pokémon that are defensive. Never use them

Primarily with today's metagame I use some sort of an offensive sand/rain team or a balanced weatherless, although when I'm in the mood for some real fun I create one of my infamous stall teams that drive the opposition insane.

 

I'm usually casual, though when I do compete, I try to make it as strategical as I can. I'm normally an all out offensive, though when I feel up to it, I try to have a good mix of defense and offense, such as a great sandstorm team I had a while back on PO before my computer decided to crash and wipe all files.

 

I don't battle against other people, so I just use what my Pokémon have. I try to give them all powerful, accurate STAB moves that go off their better attacking stat, and I try to balance the team, but I'm not too competitive.

 

I was once a heavy competitive battler with annoying stall sets that made matchs last up to 2 hours but now i primarily Battle casually with a fully offensive team and maybe one wall

 

i suppose I am a casual battle. Though, I don't really battle people often. My team is usually built to where I can beat the trainers in the game rather than facing real people. I hate the thought of EV training (Mainly because I'm a lazy bones and don't feel like spending the time doing it). So whenever I battle real people, 99% of the time I will lose. Haha. That, and my team always seems to have crappy defense

 

I'm in the same boat. The one kind of team I absolutely can't use is a stall team. It just gets ridiculously boring.

 

Offensive, even if I know that the opponent has the type advantage.

 

As with some of the others that have this, I am the same. I use defensive and offensive, sometimes stall. My favorite of the teams are bulky offensive teams, because I can survive many hits and hit back hard . Whatever I think of making, I'll make it, even though it ends up really crappy *cough* Baton Pass Team *cough*.

 

Casual fighter, physical oriented.

 

I'm pretty much casual, though when it comes to competitive I try to be as serious as possible. I don't really competitive battle anymore though, it got kinda annoying.

 

Yeah, I've always kind of shyed away from competitive battling. Too much of a hassle to prepare, and I've mostly battled with egotistic total dicks that say "suck it" when I lose.

 

Those are the kind of people you do your best to prepare against and/or 6-0

 

I've never participated in any competitive battling, I usually don't use any sort of multiplayer function on games unless it's with my close friends. The teams I make are made up of a mix of my favorite Pokémon and those that I find interesting. I still enjoy breeding/EV training, so I guess I could make a competitive team if I wanted to. I'm happy sticking to casual playing though, haha.

 

I'm a troll- I like making things having to constantly switch out. I'm varied, but competitively, you'll end up with a Pokémon that prevents your U-Turns/Volt Switches from working, a U-turn/Volt Switch of my own, Red Cards, and generally just make everything constantly moving and changing. I have a few Pokémon that are defensive, but even they can cause you to switch in frustration. Oh, is that a Choice Band? Here, take my Flame Orb! Oooh, you got leftovers and you're defensive? Heck man, take this choice band I picked up! I love sharing items! Oh, but now that you're almost dead from Burn, here's your Choice Band back. I'm sure someone else would like my Flame Orb <3

 

I try to do both Offensive and Defensive so im more like a casual type of battler.
