What made you stop watching? The fact that they put out too many episodes at once and I couldn't keep up was the thing for me.

I stopped watching right near the beginning of the Hoenn episodes. Max is a little shit that annoyed me and I was starting to get out of Pokémon at that point anyway. It no longer had the magic for me it once did when when season 6 started, I didn't like the changes.

I've recently started watching it again from the beginning though, and I'm now into the Hoenn episodes. They aren't as bad as I remember, I've been enjoying them for what they are although not as much as the 'original series' seasons. It also has my favorite opening theme besides the original classic one I grew up with.

I stopped watching a little bit before Johto came out. I never saw the episodes where Misty or Brock leaves and so when I tried to watch it again I was kind of confused xD

It was the voices and the whole direction the shows were taking for me, personally. Voices of the characters really didn't seem suitable for them, and the episodes started to get repetitive and more focused on friendship and not Pokémon adventuring. Stopped watching sometime in the Hoenn series, only reason why I lasted that long was because my first games were the Hoenn based games, so I was interested in seeing how close they followed what was in the games.

As soon as they ditched misty they lost me. I started watching again for BW. Not sure why. That said, I like BW, and since they've been on boomerang, I've been watching the episodes I skipped out on.

I haven't stopped yet actually. Basically cause I find watching the show, which is terrible now, amusing.
I found the Gen. 3 anime to be my favorite mainly cause I grew up watching it.

The voice change seven years ago killed it for me. The new voices just didn't sound right for the characters. That said, I will catch a subbed Japanese episode every so often, but I will not watch past Season 8 of the English version.

I just couldn't stand how long it took the characters to make coherent thoughts. They have such poor reaction times to such obvious things that it drives me nuts. It took them ten whole seconds of conversation to realise that they were talking to a Zorua, at which point they exclaimed that "IT CAN TALK?!?!?!?" as if they have never ever seen a talking Pokémon before (like Meowth, Slowking, Lugia, Mewtwo, etc)

I never really started watching the show on TV. I mean, there were a few times I did, but I was really young and didn't comprehend that TVs go off of schedules. If it were on and I noticed, I would watch it, but other than that I never did. My mom bought me the VHS tapes and that's how I watched the show, so when she stopped buying them, I stopped watching.

There was one time when I was a bit older and aware of how cable works, I decided to get up early to watch Pokémon and they chose to cancel it that day for a 2 hour car advertisement, which I watched. After that my brother and I were so disappointed that we never tried again.

I stopped watching, mid-season 1. Don't think I even made it, to Orange Islands. Saw the first two movies, though. After that...kind of grew out of Pokémon, in general. That, and growing up in a super-strict, religious family. Got back into it, by watching all the movies...then picked up, from B/W. I actually kind of like the B/W series.....I liked Team Rocket better as more serious villains, though. Shame they're going back to the Pikachu thing...

I dunno why I stopped watching. I believe it's because I always had things come up when new episodes aired. I remember they'd always air at 9am Saturday mornings, and I'd either be asleep or out, and so I'd never get to watch them. I still watch them when I see them on Boomerang. Season 6 and up wasn't so bad, but I'm not a fan of the BW series.

I stopped watching even before johto. The characters are all just super annoying and way too childish. It doesn't follow the games well at all so it never really held my interest.

Well at first it was the fact that the voice actors were switched and I couldn't stand Ash's voice. It was just so weird and I normally hate it when they replace a voice actor with someone else who doesn't really sound remotely close to the original. (Yes I know it can be hard to find someone to do that but it still deters me from watching it.) I decided to give it another try by watching the movies and see if I could get used to their new voices. I did but now it's just that I don't wake up in time to watch the show. I should sit down one day and just watch them on my computer. >>

    So yeah.
Voice acting changes and the fact I don't get to watch it due to the time it's on.

I grew up watching Diamond, Pearl, (I did get to watch the older ones, because of my friend who had also been interested in it..) I thought they were making too many series of Sinnoh, and couldn't keep up with the episodes, so I just kinda drifted away from it. I still love the games though.. But I'm starting to lose interest in that.

I only bother to watch the show because my nephew likes it. My reasons for quitting the anime:
Ash has never fully won a Pokémon League
He's never evolved his probably-now level 100 Pikachu (for acceptance issues, but evolution would still be logical)
He's only caught 40 different kinds of Pokémon (and evolved like only 15 of them); Gary had that many Pokémon by the 10th episode of the 1st season!
He's still okay with being chased around by 3 brainless villains whose disguises are so transparent, yet Ash and pals still can't manage to see through those poor costumes!

But the cherry on top, Ash's biggest failure, this:

Actually when, they showed Black/white here. It came on the weirdest times. And I just lost interest into it. Sometimes I bother too watch an ep when It is on tv. but that is all.
However, when I checked an episode guide, I saw N coming in. I went watching 1 or 2 eps that was aired about it, IN Japanese online

I stopped watching a few episodes of the Sinnoh chapter. I just couldn't stand Dawn (sorry to all Dawn fans). I recently started watching again when B/W came out, in Japanese though. It's amazing how polite Ash sounds in the Japanese dub compared to the English one. XD It really shocked me. Though, I stopped watching again when classes started. XD
