What Makes You Happy?

    Happiness is something we all come across in our lives.
    Some of us do find it harder find things that make us happy, but we've all been happy at least a few times, right?

    My question to you is the following - what makes you happy?
    Are you happy when you partake in certain activities?
    Are you happy when you spend time with your loved ones, such as family, friends, or your romantic partner?
    Are you happy when you get to go to a certain event you've been dying to go to for months upon months?
    Or maybe you're a simple person who's just happy when things are peaceful, calm, and stress free for a period in your life?

    I myself am happy when I get partake in some of my favorite activities.
    That's a pretty broad response, considering I have quite a few things I thoroughly enjoy doing, so I'll name a few off the top of my head.

    I'm happy when I buy a new video game I've been eyeing for a long time, and even happier when that game exceeds the expectations I had for it.
    I'm happy when I don't have to worry about things such as school, money problems, or taking care of web dev jobs. Sometimes those things can get pretty overwhelming, and I'm not exactly the best at handling things when stuff gets a little out of control.
    I'm happy when I get to goof off with some of my best friends, just doing dumb shit for no real reason, purely for fun.
    I'm happy when a new album by one of my favorite artists finally comes out, and extremely happy if it's an amazing piece of art I can listen to over and over without getting bored of it.
    And lastly, I'm happy when I get to talk to some of my favorite people, usually my best friends but sometimes just regular people I don't get to talk to often.
    Talking to people and just having a nice conversation with them is an amazing feeling to me, and even more so when it's with a special someone I currently have in mind. They know who they are. ^_^

    I am happy when I'm helping someone
    I'm happy when I'm singing
    I'm happy when I write
    I'm happy when I act
    I'm happy when Laughing and listening to comedy
    I'm happy when teaching
    I'm happy when Making other people happy

    I'm generally a happy person

    But the thing that makes me the most happy out of al of this. And I mean no patronisation when I say this, nor do I want to suck up to people. But the thing that makes me most happy

    I'm happy when I'm home with my family, I get really homesick actually and it's pretty bad. But I just feel nice and safe here.
    I'm also happy with friends though!
    And also
    - Eating food I like
    - Playing my 3DS
    - Watching a movie

    I'm generally happy with anything that doesn't stress me out haha.
    I love listening to music, drawing, reading, socializing, etc. I mean I'd be happy taking a test if it didn't stress me out so much. Stress free is a happy life for me!

    Food, friends, and a good story

    I'm definitely a foodie. I love trying new things. My favorite thing to do is to find a hole in the wall around the island.

    Friends though ate even better. I'm not the type to be friends with everyone, but I'm loyal to the ones I have. I love to share experiences, or even better make a story to tell later. Hopefully it invokes laughter, although for me that usually involves some kind of trouble...

    I am a generally an unhappy person, but here's what makes me happy.
    -Going on my computer
    -Reading about technology
    -Intresting and extraordinary things
    -Science and math
    -Gaming
    So there, but still I am an very unhappy person because my computer gets hogged everyday and I can't even go on without my ass getting glued on a chair so that person won't spam the forums or worse. But don't worry, I am happy sometimes

    All kinds of things make me happy. Sleeping in, seeing people I like, hearing jokes (horrendously corny jokes especially), seeing things unfold and come to fruition the way I want, face-melting heavy metal, all those things make me happy. Happy is my default emotion, and yet...

    Although I am a consistently happy person, I look like I'm not. I suppose I have the male equivalent of what some people call "resting bitch face", or RBF. I smile when someone tells me a joke or does something nice and that's about it. Otherwise, my face is just "yeah whatever". The thing is though, too many people don't know this. My "yeah whatever" face compounded with my fashionable disposition to black and gray clothing means when I walk into work every day and there's a handful of people who try to shove down my throat little inspirational quotes and bible verses and verbal pats on the back and then, THEN I become unhappy, ticked off in fact. "I already was happy you Zip-a-dee-doo-dah endorphin junkie leave me the eff alone and we can both be happy separately! My day was just fine before you decided to sing-chant "don't worry be happy" for half an hour straight before leading in to some random churchy gospel song."

    *sigh* But yeah. All sorts of things make me happy, but I don't naturally show it. I'm happy and I know it, but I'm not going to clap my hands.

    I'm basically happy living my life with family and friends and just simply being myself, but something that specifically makes me happy is helping someone and seeing its fruits. Seeing that I have positively impacted someone's life, even if it's just a bit, is more than enough for me.

    Generally, I'm a very happy person.

    My family makes me happy (when they're not making horrible puns or making me want to tear out my hair... Which is most the time.)
    Hanging out with my friends makes me happy. Creating art makes me happy, singing and listening to music makes me happy.
    Being in love makes me happier.

    The list goes on.

    Hmm, what makes me happy. That's a good questions actually. I would say when I listen to music since is such a big part of my life not a single day goes by without me having music on half the time. Another thing is playing video games with my friend, both online and RL friends. Also RP'ing with said friends.

    I love feeling happy, and there are many things that help me to feel happy when I'm down or not feeling contended:

    -Playing any Nintendo game, especially Pokémon or Kid Icarus: Uprising since the game is very funny
    -Seeing animals or nature, simply taking a walk outside and listening to birds calling :)
    -Seeing happy people and animals
    -Making people's day better, or making them happy
    -Helping out in anyway
    -Talking to my Pokémon toys or figmas (please don't judge that - we've got a large imagination...)
    -Reading (clean) puns
    -Writing stories
    -Drawing
    -Listening to the 'FUN Song' from Spongebob!
    -When others make me feel special
    -Eating chocolate
    -Doing anything that's fun
    -Seeing my family
    -Going to school and talking to my teachers
