I can never get over how much I love this tune, the instruments ground the verses in Db major but the vocals never sing the Db/tonic. they just hover around the dominant, unresolved and in a state of suspense, to keep this spacey, dreamy feel. then the chorus comes and there's, with no warning, modulation to a really distant key (from 5 flats to 3 sharps!) paired with a ton of modal substitution to give this explosive, colorful burst
Spoiler I know this song is a meme... but I honestly really like it. There's just something about this era of music that I really love... sue me.
I have no regret putting Avenged Sevenfold, Shinedown, and Green Bay on in the same playlist for absolutely no reason. Let's add some good ol' JT Music, The Cab, Madame Macabre, Living Tombstone and Da Games to that playlist at well.
Mario Kart Super Circuit - Gameboy Advance - Bowser's Castle By Mario Kart Super Circuit, Gameboy Advance
one of my all time favourite pieces of music: lack of a key signature, chaotic movement, dissonant cluster chords, odd time signitures, rapid and unpredictable changes in dynamics/shifts in tempo - incredibly riveting
I can't stop listening to this right now, I think that I need a little help since it is basically talking about death. X3
