Whenever I am studying or just working on an art project, I listen to a lot of music to motivate myself and pay attention to details. I usually listen to relaxing and soft classical or cheerful instrumental when I study or do work. For example, the soundtracks used in the Sims would be something I listen to. What music do you listen to when you work or study? What about the music helps you think?

I like to listen to remixes. Most of them tend to be from GlitchxCity, which ironically I'm listening to right now while I'm at work.

Tried listening to music whilst I study. Never really works. It's different when I have to work on something practical like a project. During said times, you'll almost always find me listening to some new song I track id'd recently on my phone and brought up the video to it on listenonrepeat.com. It's either that or I might put a few odd songs I like into a playlist on Spotify and shuffle it. I can then be working well into the night, but silence would really put me off, especially if I gotta code a thing. It's strange.

I usually throw on some Chillstep, which, as its name would imply, helps me chill out & study.

I don't usually listen to any different music. Just the usual stuff I listen to on the computer or doing work. Sometimes I wonder if I can do anything if I'm not listening to music, haha.

I just blast Sail haha. Feeling the desk vibrate while doing my work is calming, actually.

If I do listen to music, I usually listen to those without lyrics such as classical, jazz, OST's, or just whatever I can find. Music composed by Hans Zimmer is a notable mention.

I play music for two main purposes: first, it is to relax and unwind; second, it is to kill my train of thought. I constantly have a myriad of thoughts running through my head at all times, waiting to be processed and rarely waiting their turns. Music causes them all to be silent so my brain can focus on the music.

If I want to work or study, I won't be playing music. I will be focusing on my task at hand.

Honestly, I usually listen to some pop music or KPop. I helps me get pumped and it keeps me working at a decent pace.

When I'm trying to revise/study I find that music is a massive distraction because I usually end up singing along to it and not actually reading/taking notes, though if I'm doing any art-related work I find that bad ass songs usually help motivate me.

Who even calls that techno anymore
Same for me, though it's often Knife Party or Hellberg in my case. Most music that lacks lyrics I find to be very helpful in getting me in the mood to continue working while not distracting me.

If I would to sit at my desk and start working, I wouldn't play a song that has lyrics or some kind of rock music because it kills my focus.
Instead, I like to listen music like the music from The Line Zen sort of thing like that. Songs like those actually motivate me rather than distracting me :)
