What Pokémon would Max (May's little brother) use on his journey?

Hmm... I can see him use Magnemite, for some mysterious reason.

 

I really think he'd use that Ralts he met in "Do I hear a Ralts?". He did promise to come back for it when he was old enough to be a trainer.

 

I also believe that he would use his Snorlax. I know he didn't catch it, but as a Munchlax, it was effectively his. Catilena mentioned the Ralts, and I'm pretty sure that's not the only Pokémon he promised he'd catch when he got old enough. Maybe a Poochyena and a Zigzagoon for the irony if you compare it to the games? I can also see him getting a Croagunk that has the same personality as Brock's, they'd get along great.
