What should Nintendo change about there games?

Some more mature content would be nice for those of us that are older.

 

Yeah, not like GTA or anything, but some stuff like wars, people and animals (or Pokémon) dying, and maybe a lil bit of language would help.

 

They should really work trying to catch the interest of more 3rd party developers to release their games on Nintendo consoles. So many titles appear on both Xbox and Playstation, but not on Nintendo. The developers would get more sales, Ninendo would have even broader appeal (and possibly win back some of the "Nintendo is casual babby systems" people), everyone would win.

 

Don't be afraid to try new IPs--sure, everyone loves Mario, Link, and Pikachu, but why not try creating some new characters worthy of rubbing shoulders with them

 

They tried that. Did you know there was a Wii version of black ops? Or maybe it was bo2. Either way, major failure Noone buys nintendo systems to play COD or something like that. They buy for nintendo titles.

Deffinately this. We need some fresh blood for sure!

 

Shigeru Miyamoto did mention that there is a new IP in the works; I just hope it's not a shooter, because there's way too many of them as-is nowadays; I would love an RPG along the lines of Tales of Xillia, OR if they buy Atlus, Persona 5 would be make an awesome Wii U exclusive (HINT HINT).

 

I'd like to see some old school games, (Like ones that never ventured past the NES or SNES era) come back with new and fun games. There's a couple i could list, that deserve a sequel some how. Or even some of the solo games that appeared on the N64 or Game cube.

Though, if Nintendo buys Atlus, I wish that they would make a new Snowboard kids game that is BETTER than the DS version. (fun game but had cheesy graphics, lacked some of the old characters, and such a small variety of music kinda killed it.) I love those games so much With the graphics they have these days, those games would be so fun and awesome! I mean, who doesn't like big nosed little kids trying to throw rocks and snowballs at one another while snowboarding through weird and whacky levels? Especially through a beach, on a snowboard. xD

I wasn't aware of that. Huh. Yeah, it seems like a hard thing to shake off, Nintendo for Nintendo games and everyone else for everything else. I still think that is a major effort was made towards it with marketing and maybe hardware updates it could benefit them..although it it failed once before I can see them wary to bother trying again.

 

Agreed. I'd love to see some new characters come to Nintendo. It'd be great to learn about a new character.

 

I agree. I feel like Mario, Link, and Kirby are getting a little overused.

Not to mention that a big portion of their games are E and E10. I'd like to see a few T games now and then.

 

Perhaps a new age restriction thing for their consols/apps/games so nothing winds up like Swap note ever again.
