What Side Are You On?

I'd say East as well because I'm from Hong Kong. Although our area does not usually associate with war, it may cause many Chinese refugees to come to Hong Kong, just like the cultural revolution. Plus I don't want my fellow Asians to die.

 

I would just stay out of it. With all the competing ideologies, I would like to stay out of the fray. Also, I like Switzerland's ideology of "gtfo," where they shoot anything that enters their territory. In terms of ideological differences, Capitalism has been proven to barely work in its entirety, and pure Communism is unachievable due to human greed. A nice blend of the two, like Switzerland, Canada, and the Nordic Countries' economies has been proven to work extremely well, since these countries all have the highest happiness ratings in the world and their economies are doing very well (Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Canada are all in the top 20 countries in the world for GDP per capita. Ireland is also in the top 20).

 

I would also go for neutrality. Simply put, I care about scientific progress. Well yes scientific progress does happen a great deal during cold wars, its heavily restricted. In a neutral country, I could preserve the truth and seek greater knowledge beyond weapons.

 

I would side with NATO cause communism never has worked nor will it ever work, not saying that the more democratic stuff works, but they have a much higher chance of not collapsing on themselves like the Soviet Union did. Also, Communism have this habit of killing a lot of their own people and I don't like that, but I also think that Neutrality wouldn't work either cause if something were to happen to say NATO, then all that would be left would be the communists and soon they would descend onto the neutral nations, forcing them to become like them. That is why I choose NATO.
