Hey guys and girls, now that the virus is spreading and I am staying at home. What are some things that you guys do to kill time? I would like to have new hobby to kill time.
I’ve been drawing a lot, but I had to take a break because I was starting to get burnout. I also played some Pokémon games, including my first ever nuzlocke (that I already failed)
Watch YT, Do photography, Play video games, Write, there's many things to do with how you can deal with this lockdown.
The internet has a wide variety of educational tools for all sorts of fields. Learning new skills such as programming or even cooking could be worthwhile uses of your time if you feel the need to be productive during this time.
I've been writing, watching Youtube, doing various schoolwork, playing video games, talking to you wonderful people. But it is mainly based on my current mood.
I've been doing a lot of writing, as well as puzzles. I know that puzzles aren't for everyone, but I find them very satisfying, and a great way to pass the time. I've also been watching a bunch of shows on Netflix and stuff (usually watch while I write and do puzzles, otherwise I'll get either bored or feel like I'm being unproductive). Another hobby I have that kills time is I crochet. It can take time to figure out, but it works for me.
I've spent a lot of time on my own little projects! Think of art or writing you enjoy and start working on it.
I'm still working through this (mixed blessing I guess), but if I had time to kill, I would be spending time at Khan Academy. Whether getting ahead of my next classes or refreshing or remastering old math and science, there is a lot to do on their curriculum and it's all free so I don't need to worry about spending unnecessary money. Specifically I think I would work on math. I think I've never had a good math teacher, and now would be a perfect time to actually get one to teach me at my own speed.
Personally, I usually just spend most of my days just sitting inside my house and read books. Be it regular books, online books, Manga, Online manga, comics, web comics... you get the idea. I also spend my days playing videogames, console or PC really. One thing I found as a decent pass time, is go to any flash games website, and mess around with random games that you can find, (Before i even had a steam account, this was pretty much all I had for online video games. And due to this outbreak, I've gotten back to playing random flash games). A website I recommend is "Armorgames.com", they have a wide selection of random flash games for you to try out. You can also filter out some genres of games so that they suit your pallet (Totally not sponsored).
I spend a lot of my time on online school and work. Its really been taking up a lot of my time over the weeks. I do take walks and write from time to time, but almost all my energy and focus is on the previous 2 things. In the interim I do spend a lot of time playing video games but I just beat the last two games I was playing and now have nothing. I don't know what I'll do now. Figure that out I guess.
