What type of player are you?

Fun. Competitive isn't exactly my type of thing I guess. I suck at it lol.

 

I play for fun of course but I'm more of a competitive player than casual. I enjoy juts doing casual runs but those runs are influenced by the fact that I play competitive like making sure I have decent natures and such.

 

I do both! I casual play and I competitively play. Though sometimes my competitive side gets in the casual's way when it comes to natures and abilities. ^^;

 

I do both. I am competitive once I get to the post-game, but until then I play only for fun

 

I'm not primarily a competitive Pokémon player, although I do IV breed Pokémon at times, and I have a team on Showdown at well. I'm mainly the kind of trainer who just wants to use Pokémon that I like, and sometimes try out some other Pokémon I'm unfamiliar with.

 

For fun! I think having fun is more important in pretty much anything you do. I don't think I would have even loved Pokémon if I wasn't doing it for fun.

 

For fun, though I may get into competitive since I've started breeding for IVs and such now. Maybe lol

 

I enjoy playing the series for fun! I mean I gave battling a shot in high school and I won against my friend as well but it wasn't as execiting compared to going around, catching Pokemona nd just saving them for later. Who knows I might try getting into battling again but at the momvent that's very slim. I'm still a noob when it comes to figuring out good movesets for my Pokémon and worring about stats. I just like having low leveled Pokémon and destroying the elite 4 with them. I might get into breeding more so over battling though. but I'm forever a Ranger.

 

I'm one of the most competitive people you'll ever find, which is not a good thing :/ I tend to make everything a competition, that's why I told myself to start a Pokémon game normally and AFTER I finish the entire storyline, I can go full competitive... Now if only I didn't suck so much xD

 

I play for fun when going through the story then start being more "competitive" except I don't actually go into wireless battles. I breed for 5IVs in all the ideal stats, the best nature, and possibly shiny Pokémon with those first two requirements if I'm feeling patient. Gives me so much more to do later in the game. [:

 

I'm more of a casual player. Mostly because I'm a sore loser. If I'm doing something competitive, I feel like I have to win, and if I don't, I can ruin things for other people, so I just tend to stay away from that so I can keep things fun. =P

 

I'm a little bit of a mix. I'm mostly in it for fun, as is the case with most games I play, but I do enjoy the competitive. Though, I'm not a try-hard, and never will be. Nothing wrong with it, but I like complimenting other peoples teams, and don't want to make winning an absolute must for myself.

 

I do casual and nuzlocke and competitive. I do whatever, but I like casual the most.

 

I've always been in it for the story rater than competitive play. I've dabbled in the latter, but never really cared for it that much.

 

Play for fun mostly. Only recently started to look into playing competitively, so I'm not any good at that yet xD

 

Have fun in competitive is my answer. I know this is combined but there is no better way for me to enjoy the game. Sometimes I prefer to win, sometimes I prefer to lose. Many kind of players just want the same : to fight with their favorite pokes, i like that thinking, but others just want to win and use pokes that they don't like and their opponents don't like them too, and there is when the game experience is ruined for both players. I repeat i prefer to battle with my Lucario against a Volcanion before using another poke, even if i know that I am going to lose I will try because there is nothing better that enjoy the game, have fun and battle with the pokemons that you like.

 

I have a better time playing a game if I casually play it. I was like that a lot when I played Ruby/Sapphire for GBA. Until I got XY... I play more competitive. I'm still learning how the chart goes and weaknesses in most the series. Its really bad.
