What Was The Very First Video Game You Played?

My first game was Super Mario World on the SNES. My first level was the athletic level in World/Area 1. I was only 4 years old when I first played it, so I had the hardest time getting through the level. I was unaware of running and jumping at the same time. I had to always have my somewhat older friend guide me through the level.

 

Space Invaders for the Atari 2600.

Simply put, one of the greatest early games ever made.

 

It was one of many games. It was either Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong Country for SNES, Super Mario World for SNES, or Donkey Kong Country 2 for SNES.

Regardless, I have a lot of early memories with these games.

 

If memory serves, it was Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which I played at a friend's house. Half of the fun, and frustration, was trying to catch up to him while we did Mystic Cave Zone in 2-Player.

Oh, and of course, being children, we both died in Chemical Plant Zone repeatedly (but mostly me).

 

I think it was a mario game but I am not too sure... Otherwise it would have been the snake game in the Nokia phone XD

 

My first video game every played as I can remember was, Battle Tanks. I remember making worlds and competing with my brothers.

 

In a concious way, I think it was Pokémon Fire Red when I was 5 y-old, I always ended up deleting my brother's saved game xD
And also Spyro for Play, I loved that game

 

I think it was the very first DOOM game my friend had on their computer, in the 90's lol
But the first I played on my own was Sonic 2 for the Genesis.

 

One of the Mario Bros. games for the SNES sometime in.. 1995, I want to say? Grandpa used to play with me and it holds so many precious memories. Always remember the games as being insanely addicting! Now if only I actually played more than one or two other Mario Bros. games since then, oof.

 

I'm pretty sure it was Pokémon Yellow version. I have so many fond memories with it, even if it hasn't dated well now. I wish I could get that cartridge back, but I just don't where it is!

 

Rugrats: Search For Reptar, for PS1. Annnd I still have it! But does the disc still play? Hmmmmm probably not. Hah. RIP those golfing minigames!

 

I believe it was Super Mario Land on the old fat Gameboy. A pretty rough game for a kid, I can assure you.

 

I want to say my first game was Crash Bandicoot: the Wrath of Cortex. I only have vague memories of it, and was absolutely terrible at it since I had no idea what the heck to do XD

 

Spyro the Dragon. That was the best, well until, I got into Crash Bandicoot.

 

Pokémon red and yellow. That is until I got Emerald;

 

I think it was Super Smash Bros on the N64. I was probably around 8 or 9, maybe even 10ish...

 

First game: Pacman on the snes

 

My first game was Pokémon pearl for the nintendo.

 

A really early version of tetris. The one that had its own... handheld thing.
