mine was on my computer every YouTube video took a minute or 2 to load the worst part was that it lasted a month
The three separate occasions where I have had 20 second lags on Pokémon unite without the game disconnecting.
Playing anything on DS emulators for the computer... most of the time the games ran in 45 FPS or less (normal speed is around 60 FPS), especially when the games I was playing tried to run 3D instead of 2D. And the longer I played, the slower it would get, so I could only play for an hour or two before I had to stop that session. I think the lowest I had it go was 8 FPS, and I was playing Mario Party waiting for the obnoxiously slow cutscene to end. I know I won the minigame already, get on with it.
Yeah that's why I preferred playing my GBA emulator because it could run at 200% speed, which is good for breezing through Pokémon battles. Whereas trying to play Pokémon Diamond (which is already slow enough on its own) was such a hassle.
Tried playing Genshin on my Android phone. The CPU warnings did not stop. Had to uninstall Dragalia after a while too.
On my current gaming laptop most games run fine. The only issue is VR games.They run terribly. Games that are supposed to run at 60 fps barely stay at 20. The cheap USB cable I use to connect the VR headset also flickers constantly. The result is an unplayable mess that isn’t worth the headache. For standard games I’d have to say Minecraft 1.18. From what I’ve heard Mojang poorly optimized newer updates of Java edition. Even higher end setups struggle to run it without frame drops. In my case it fluctuated between 0-25 frames a second on the lowest settings.The lag spikes were so bad that I downgraded to 1.12. It might not get official support anymore, but the better performance and mods make Minecraft so much more enjoyable.
Recently I've had terrible lag in online games. It's gotten real bad in the past week and I think we might need to talk to our ISP in a few days to fix it.
I was, for a while (like, at least a year) banned from Pokémon Showdown due to my older internet lagging for like 5 minutes. It led to me posting something like 15 times in a row and luckily we didn't time our battle ;w;
I could honestly just paste my entire Super Mario Maker 2 experience here xD At least everyone's equal in that regard... No matter how much money you have, you'll be forced to subscibe to NSO if you want to play, well, online, and everyone suffers equally. Yay!
