What was your favourite rival battle music?

I was in love with Hugh's battle music as well as Wally's music.
Both are outstanding in their own right with how powerful they feel. I just love it.

 

mine has to be barry, partially because 4th gen is my first to second favorite, also because he's so stupid that he's cute XP

 

I really liked Silver's them because it fits his cruel personality (Although it doesn't really fit after you defeat Clair and Lance, when he turns into a nice guy). Barry's them was awesome too because it's fast paced like Barry himself.

 

Wally simple cannot be beaten in terms of music and rivals. They just did such an amazing job in ORAS with Wally.

 

Most likely the X/Y rival battle theme! The friendly and "energetic" relationship the player has with Shauna, Tierno, Trevor, and opposite gender character is outlined really well in the battle theme and it's so bubbly to listen to yet not overly so like Barry's had been (though I like his as well). Wally's theme itself is also very good but hardly fits his personality so it's definitely quite out-of-place.

 

I agree with Sheep in that Wally's theme is really cool for a rival theme, but it doesn't fit Wally at all... But I guess it's still my favorite theme after all... I don't really know xD

 

Wally's music is the best! Man, I enjoyed how the mood just changed when he challenged you to a battle. One month later, I still can't get over it.

 

I love Wally's theme! Though I think I prefer Brendan/Mays theme from ORAS! I absolutely love that theme!

 

I'm yet another in love with Wally's battle theme =9=
I never really thought that it didn't fit him though. I thought it did a really good job of showing how much effort he was putting into the battle and how much he had changed over the course of his own adventure. Each to their own of course

 

I would say Silver's. Although I love his original theme in G/S, I thought they did it better in HG/SS.

 

I really love Silver's battle music from HGSS, although Wally's theme in ORAS kind of takes the cake for me. Hearing that theme for the first time sent chills down my spine, I really love that he got his own unique theme in the remakes.

 

Gotta be Barry's theme from DPPt. It's just really catchy! Plus he's got a really cool dance animation! XP

 

I don't know if he counts, but I like N's from Pokémon Black/White. It sounded so fairytale-like, dream-like, mysterious, and somewhat Transylvanian with the organ sounding part. I can NOT get it out of my head. I freakin' love it!

I'm not sure if his battle music changes after he tells you he's King of Team Plasma, but either way I promise it's something you won't be able to get out of your head!

 

Hugh's Theme. I remember the first time I listened to it and I just thought "Oh yea....this gets me energized."
