What was your favourite show that got cancelled?

Well I'm still not entirely sure if this show is being cancelled, but from the sounds of it, there will be no season 2 whatsoever, even though there was planning to be one. The show is called Red Band Society, which is also on Fox. I admit, I feel a bit bitter towards Fox as well because if a show doesn't get enough profit or ratings, it gets cut regardless of how good the show is to the general audience. The shows is about a group of teenagers all battling mental/physical issues that ended them all up in the hospital. The show has a great balance of humor, drama, and romance. The main reason I watch it is because my favorite actor Ciara Bravo is on the show, and even more so, her character portrays someone who is going through a similar experience that I had to deal with, so I was really attached to that.

 

Holy crap, I'm still upset that Cartoon Network dropped Young Justice in the middle of season 2, and that was like 2 years ago. The worst part was that they ended it on a great season finale (because they didn't pull a Danny Phantom and create a final overall episode) and it ended on such a huge cliffhanger, killing off my favorite character and revealing the big bad Darkseid. Curse you, CN.

 

I remember once that there was a show called "Wolverine and the X-men" that was canceled for some reason. I really liked season 1 and they were going to come out with season 2, but they cut stopped the show somewhere in the middle of season 2 without releasing any of the episodes

 

I was really disappointed when Star Wars: The Clone Wars was canceled, because Disney bought the rights to Star Wars or something like that. It's a shame, I really wanted to see it through to the end! I was really enjoying it!

 

If I had to name one I guess I was a bit livid over hearing that 'Dracula' got axed. Yeah, another take on Bram Stroker's age old tale, and wonky voices aside, I thought it had potential. Clearly, tv chiefs didn't agree. What a pity.

 

There was a show I liked a while back called "Pushing Daisies" that was dropped. It was a really cute and quirky show filled with an interesting and funny plot. The show was told from a third-person omniscient and the visuals were pretty nice. The show was canceled after its second season which was unfortunate due to how unique the show really was. The show was pretty poetic, and the fact it was canceled made me have such a deep sinking feeling in stomach.

 

Ultimate Banzuke. I miss this show a lot. I remember how crazy it was to see how everyone would go through the different obstacles. Especially the ones where they had to use a pogo stick on. Too bad it was canceled back in 2008.

 

Firefly. No doubt about it. It had so much potential, and it set itself up perfectly for sequels. Of course, Fox, with their incredible intellect saw the huge potential, and refused to accept such a good program on their network! So, with a mighty blow, they killed it.

R.I.P Firefly.

 

The Legend of Korra and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Even though they weren't exactly "cancelled", the stories at the end were so upsetting; I hated that they were ending. The Legend of Korra was originally going to be cancelled, but my gosh Nickelodeon at least got it finished before nailing the coffin. Probably my favorite American animated series of all time.

 

Probably Samurai Jack. They never finished it. :'(
