What was your first shiny Pokemon?

(I think the current existing topic is 'What was your reaction to your first shiny?', so this should be fine)

Mine was (not counting the lake of rage Gyarados) a Foongus in a horde battle in X and after a 1000 hours of playing Pokémon games, that was about time too xD

Ponyta was my first, in my Soul Silver version, on Mt. Silver. I remember doing a double take, staring at the screen for a good few seconds before the shock and reality of what just happened had processed xD I still have him too, though now it's a Rapidash. I think he's got a Naughty nature? I forget, but I remember it was one that boosts the atk stat, so he's usable 83

 

First shiny caught, or first shiny seen? XD
My first caught shiny was a Graveler on my platinum. My first seen was a shiny tangela in the Platinum Safari zone >.>

 

My first shiny I encountered was a Gible but I was really confused because I didn't know if I was hallucinating because of the color scheme.

 

The first shiny that i ever found/caught was a shiny Hoothoot in the safari zone in Platinum.

 

My first shiny I ever saw was a spinarack in emerald's safari. I was ticked because it ran right away. But my first and only shiny that I own (not including red gyrados) is a vivillion that I received from the boy that I babysat this summer. He gave it to me after trading away a dragonite that he had raised from a dratini and said that he wanted me to have the shiny because I had played and taught him so much about Pokémon. I nearly teared up because it was his first shiny too. tarryeyes:

 

Mine was a sliggoo from FS.

 

Mine was a luvdisc when I was chain fishing for heat scales lmao.

 

Not counting the red Gyarados, mine was a Ponyta on the original Silver

 

Hmm... tough question... I literally did NOT catch my first shiny until XY series in the Friend Safari. My first shiny was a Growlithe...but if we had to go by normal play not in the FS, than it'd be a Pancham (omg, so cute!)...

I tend to nickname my shinies awkward names lmao... like Growlithe was Kira Kira... and Pancham was Chocolate lmao...

 

I don't remember if the first one I caught (which was also the first one I saw) was Golbat or Clefairy. But they were both from Mt. Coronet in Pearl.

 

My first shiny was a Psyduck in Pokémon FireRed. At first I didn't realize it was shiny until I fled.

 

My first shiny was a Caterpie. I encountered it in the first ten minutes I ever played a Pokémon game xD

 

I managed to catch a shiny Pidgey whilst EV Training my in-game team back on SoulSilver. I still have the cartridge with the save file but I haven't been motivated to move it onto a later game yet. It was an expected shiny to find, however, since Pidgey, HootHoot and Ledyba were amongst the only available EV farm at that point in the game. Pidgeot looks great as a shiny Pokémon and I'll get around to evolving my beloved Pidgey...eventually.

 

And I had to watch that after playing so much Pokémon without encountering a single shiny...

 

My first was a numel from Ruby. I no longer have it though because I deleted the save. (I also had a shiny magikarp I caught on the sunken ship on that file)

 

My first shiny was a Zigzagoon in Ruby. I found it by that rock where Registeel (I think) is, on that route where it rains a lot west of Lilycove. If I hadn't been paying attention and seen the yellow stars whoosh around I would've ran. Shiny Zigzagoon doesn't look all that different from the regular ones.

I've caught tons of shinies since then. Fun times

My first was the game event for Gyrados. But my first real cot shiny was a Raticate. Then a shiny eevee. Then so on and so on. You always get jiggly when you encounter one. xD​
