He's making a list, he's checking it twice This year I couldn't think of very many things on my Christmas wishlist that I couldn't just buy myself. For example, I wanted a lint roller because my cats keep shedding onto my black clothes, but then I realized I could probably just pick one up at the local drugstore if I needed it so badly. So instead of making a wishlist, I asked all my family members to donate to charity because there's a huge homelessness problem in the nearest city. And while I live in a comfortable community, many other people don't and I feel guilty when I see homeless people sleeping on the streets. (I will admit, I do have a tinge of regret because I realized I won't be able to open presents with my family because I'll have...no presents. and while I don't care too much about the presents aspect, it's just that it's always been a tradition for us and this year is going to feel strange. But I do think I'm supporting a good cause so I'll just have to remember that on Christmas day) So what's on your wishlist? Do you ever buy your own gifts for yourself? And what do you want the most this December?
Since I was too focused on getting a Switch, I don't really know what I want now. I guess my presents this year will be a complete surprise, because it could be anything. I also buy myself some gifts, but I already did it this year with getting a Switch.
The only thing I remember that's actually on my list is Let's Go Pikachu + Pokéball Plus. I put off getting it for Smash Ultimate
I usually buy myself a gift for the holidays...usually something off Steam, or a game that goes on sale in the holiday period. Things that it's too late to ask for, or that I can't wait for because I need it NOW and waiting the extra days would drive me insane, etc. All I really wanted for Christmas this year was Darksiders III, and I know I've got it, so I'm OK with whatever else. People usually find small things to get me that I appreciate.
I would say something stupid, but I look at the long term. I just want something to draw with so I can stop wasting my paper and pencils, since I usually buy a full pack each month... If I don't find some lying on the floor somewhere, which happens often enough. But other than that, I just want my family. They're a great group of peeps, even if I don't agree with them on... almost everything related to school and education. And maybe a new friend or two. I kind of survive with their support.
I really want one of the UsUm games (I’m leaning towards getting US) but I know I’ll have to buy it myself. (I found one that comes with a keychain and it’s only a few cents more expensive than the plain copy.) That aside, I can’t think of much else I really want. Some pens or markers would be nice.
