I was viewing a slightly different thread in the Lounge, and that inspired me to ask a totally different question. By now we know and are rather familiar with what rests on top of each other's desks. But even though it's the most visible portion, that is only one part of the desk. Which begs the question: what is underneath your desk? Is it clean, messy, somewhere in between? Does it exist in a similar state as the top of your desk? In the interest of getting the ball rolling, I'll go first. :::: Underneath my desk at home is where all the wires are. In my room lies my CPU tower, my monitor, a printer (which doesn't work anymore; I need to get rid of it), a scanner, and our house's modem. All of those things are in the general vicinity of my desk, though none except the modem is actually under it. What is under my desk is wires. Lots of wires. And a fair amount of dust to go with it. There's a surge protector underneath my desk, where everything is plugged into, and that is plugged into the wall. (It's only 1 surge protector, so there's no threat of daisy chaining.) I haven't really cleaned under my desk often (since that involves unplugging all the wires and scrounging hard with a dust cloth) though I at least do cursory examinations. Other than the wires and perhaps a DS Lite or 3DS charger, that's all underneath my desk. :::: And what about the rest of you? Worry not, there is no shame here - I have already admitted to not cleaning up dust.
I think I already said it but anyway underneath my desk there is lot of stuff. Printer,CPU nd on top of printers there are books. Piles of book I read or would usually need while studying something since I study on my computer table(I turn desktop to one side and shift keyboard at back.).
I got a desk at school, they are small desks so I can't put much under them. I sometimes have a pair of shoes under my desk and often times a cord or two.
Under my computer desk is this box I have no idea about. It says "fragile" but I tend to stick my feet on it anyways and kick it a bot haha. Sometimes a blanket is under there and maybe a fork or something. Once my tablet pen managed to go under my desk, which I have no idea how because I set it in a safe place every night.
A little stepstool. Like a 1 tiered one. I am the size of maybe a 7 year old, so I need it so my feet don't fall asleep
Continuing from my sister's post... The last time I checked (which was last night), I saw my Super Mario Odyssey cartridge, some checks my father deals with since he owns rental properties, a wrapper of a Skittles bag, and computer wires that are shoved pretty far back. And of course my feet.
Not much. I have a rolling chair to go with my desk, so I like a nice clear space underneath. Sometimes you can find my backpack there if I'm being responsible, or stuff that fell off the radiator if I'm not. The only things that are perpetually there are the computer's charging cord and the cord that connects it to the speakers (because, of course, I end up being the only one in this house without their own computer. Oh well, it's basically mine by now anyway). And, of course, I spy with my little eye a pair of feet.
