If any of you remember, I posted a thread asking about your MBTI type. This time, I'd like to know what your Enneagram Type is! The types are labelled 1 through 9, each number having a distinct personality. Enneagrams are slightly more complicated, as there are things called "wings". (For example, if you're type 1, you can either have a 2 wing or a 9 wing, written as 1w2 or 1w9. Both are rather similar, but have slightly different attributes.) I, myself, am a 5w6. You can take the test here.
It says I'm 4w5, but I think that 5w4 (which is the second closest option) sounds more like me. Even then, it just seems seriously stereotypical to me, and kinda restricting. I don't know why I'm bothered by this when it's actually incredibly similar to MBTI, which I'm more than fine with.
According to the classical test, I'm 9w1. Because I was curious, I also took the second test, which says I'm 4w5. I think the first one is a bit closer to how I actually am, but I relate to a couple of things in the second as well.
5w6, although it's practically an even split between 5 and 6 for me, because there are only a few points difference between that and 6w5. Eh...I've always felt like these sorts of tests generalise too much and are far too simplistic to really capture the depth of any personality. You can't boil people down into singular traits this way.
