Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, though I will say that Fire Emblem: Awakening is a VERY honorable mention.

I listed Pokémon X as my favorite game on my 3DS, but I actually find Mario Kart7 to be my favorite 3DS game to play. Its just so much fun to race against people online whenever you feel like it without having to worry about cheaters or anything. The competition is pretty challenging too, so every race is really exciting! I just love how user friendly the entire game is and how many customizations you can choose from. The game is VERY addicting and even more so fun to play with friends! I don't know how many total hours I've spent over the course of these last few months playing the game, but I assure it was a lot. I've enjoyed the game so much that I've been avoiding purchasing Mario Kart8 because I'm not ready to move onto the WiiU and start playing it instead of MK7. I have a tradition to get every single Mario Kart game in existence, so eventually I will get Mario Kart8, but for now I think I'll enjoy my time with Mario Kart 7 and continue to have loads of fun with it.

I suppose Pokémon X, because that (and Zelda: Link between Worlds) are the only 3DS games I currently own...

I only have Pokémon X so that automatically makes it my favorite, although I'm going to buy Super Smash Bros and Alpha Sapphire as well, so one of those two could become my favorite, but for now I'll have to stay with X

Ocarina of time 3d was a great playthrough, but Y just wins it. So much to do and it never gets old

The only games I have for 3DS so far are PMD: Gates to Infinity, Nintendogs + Cats, Pokémon Y, Sonic Generations and Starfox 64 3D.

Nintendogs was very visually impressive and had a lot cooler mechanics then the previous games but the addition of cats didn't really add anything other than a pretty pet you need to spend more money on feeding.

PMD was pretty boring. It was disappointing from the gripping tales of Sky and the original Red/Blue. It still looks great and the characters are cute though. I just don't understand why they changed so many of the mechanics; why can't you accept more than one request at a time anymore?

Sonic Generations for 3DS is bad. I've heard great things about the Playstation versions so if you want the game get it for the PSP or something but definitely not the 3DS. The graphics and soundtrack are amazing and the controls are pretty good, but the storyline is extremely watered down from the Playstation versions which leaves behind a short, boring game. Definitely not worth the money.

As for Starfox, since everyone's praising it so much I'm going to assume me not being able to get very far through it is down to me sucking at it. If anyone could teach me how to play that would be great.

So my favourite is probably Y. Because I love Pokémon, I suck at Starfox and the rest of the 3DS games I own are mediocre.

I hope espeonbird doesn't think much of this, but my favorite 3DS game is actually Sonic Generations. Why? Because after all of these stupid 3D Sonic games, it was great to see SEGA going back to where it all started. Plus, when I want a tune to rock out to, I usually just get my 3DS and listen to the stuff on Sonic Generations. (Or TWEWY. Depending on my mood.)

Now this is a really tough one...

I'm going to pick between Animal Crossing New Leaf & Rune Factory 4. No Pokémon? Here's why.

Pokémon was great, but I played ACNL all day, every day. It was so much fun being able to play with friends in your town and honestly I have so many more memories of it thanks to the ability to take pics wherever and whenever. ACNL was a brand new type of game for me, so I wasn't sure I would like it...but boy, was it worth it.

Playing it now is kind of boring, to be honest. No one else wants to play, and if they do they'll give up shortly, but when it first came out and everyone was hyped for it - it was amazing. @[member="tacoroach"] convinced me to get it even though I called it "furry crossing" and I also managed to get a few others in to it, like @[member="Satix"].

Playing every night on the island with Satix was magical. Catching bugs, sharks and bells for money, whilst messing with Satix and stealing his possible catches. I don't think I will find a game with more possible magical playtime than ACNL. I met a ton of cool people who played it too.

Now RF4 is special to me because it was bought for me by some one else, and a 2DS too so I could play it. (It's an American title only so I needed an american 2ds) Rune Factory 4 was also my first type of game like this, and boy, was it fun. I still want to replay this, so if I get the chance I will.

It's so underrated which is a shame, because if Nintendo hyped it - I know for a fact it would be as popular, maybe even more so than Fire Emblem Awakening. Rune Factory 4 is a game I recommend to anyone who enjoys Zelda, Fire Emblem awakening or any types of games like that. It is SO. DARN. FUN. So much to do, it's hard to really go too in to detail about how much there is in this game but it's magical.

And that, is why they both beat Pokémon X/Y for me. Though OR/AS might change this pretty quickly...

Rune Factory 4, hands down. It has a really good plot, awesome characters, a beautiful OST which I wish I could get on my iPod but can't DX, fun gameplay, high replay value, etc. It is one of those games I can play over and over again <3

Also giving an honorable mention to Bravely Default, which is a close second. Again, I love it for the same reasons as RF4. Plus, I really love how it makes grinding for Job Levels (and regular levels) easy (auto mode + high encounter rate).

I love so many 3DS games but Rune Factory 4 is defiantly my favorite out of all of them. RF4 is one of those games that I keep going back to. I love the characters, art design, BGM, and everything about the series in general. What one of the things that popped out the most was the fact that you can play as a female instead of the male. In my eyes I felt the females weren't as interesting compared to the females in the original RF games. The male canidates were enjoyable and it made it difficult to figure out who you wanted to marry. I had 3 canidates that I wanted to marry and every time I started a new file, it was difficult for me to marry the 2nd person. It's so hard. That's what made this game so great! I still haven't finished the full story plot which I need to but it defiantly turned out to be one of my favorite DS games! The only thing that annoyed me has to be the random event thing. That was a pain to deal with especially when your trying to marry someone that is in 4 events.
