What's Your Favorite Older Gen?

My favorite generation is the 2nd generation

 

Mine is a bit of a cross between third and sixth Gen. I liked Hoenn the most in terms of gameplay and exploration, and Kalos for the soundtrack and geographical design. Not to mention, it introduced some new Pokémon that really appeal to me (although I still have quite a lot of favorites from the previous games as well). I found X/Y surprisingly easy in comparison to the previous games, but it was overall still a fun, interesting game that I might play again some time. I loved R/S/E, though I don't know what ORAS is like yet since I don't own a copy.

 

Second generation all the way. I started with Gen 1, but Gen 2 sealed the deal with their Pokémon, and the starters. The Chikorita line is my all-time favorite <3

 

Of course 3rd! a lot of nice Pokémon(t-tar,metagross) and awseome legendaries (kyogre,groudon)

 

Technically, mine would be Gen 2, because you get both Johto and Kanto; the best of both worlds! If it weren't for Kantos inclusion, I would've preferred Gen I.
