I haven't thought about it, but I think I would like to try Pokémon that I haven't used before, so here's my spontaneous list.
Aerodactyl
Electabuzz
Hitmonlee
Hypno
Poliwrath
Arcanine
I don't know how balanced it is, but it feels okay.

 

My team would probably be:
- Pikachu/Eevee (Because I don't think you can get rid of it.)
- Pidgeot (For flying type moves before catching the legendary birds, and because I like it.)
- Good water type
- Good fire type
- Articuno
- Zapdos (If I chose Eevee.)/Good grass type (If I chose Pikachu.)

 

I'd try to beat the world with my AWESOME team!
