As the title says, when did you begin drawing/creating artwork? Have you been invested ever since you could hold or a crayon or did you pick it up later down the road?

Oh geez... I drew a ton when I was little, started maybe when I was 4-5. I guess that's when you can say my doodling tendencies began!

Yeah, I've been drawing ever since I can remember, so I suppose you could say it started as soon as I could hold a crayon/pencil/pen properly.

I guess it would be a few years after starting school (around when I can hold a pencil properly).
I still remember my horse stick-figures. hehehehe....
I never had formal classes. My older brother drew Dragonball frequently (He was in grade school, but he was good)
I sort of picked up the frequent interest from him. Then my sis and I would try and draw Pokémon (particularly Jigglypuff).

And the rest would just be me, looking at anime shows and trying to sketch them in my own way.

Yesterday! Still trying to get over that hump and teach myself. It's difficult, and it's starting to get a bit frustrating, but I know you can't automatically be good at something, so... ^-^'

I started when I was four. I had a friend who could draw really well, and I wanted to draw too. So I picked up a pencil and just drew stuff. 12 years later I am almost okay at drawing though I've never actually looked up any guides or lessons. I was just too stubborn to quit and worked some stuff out over time. xD

I did some drawing when I was little, but I stopped for a while cause I wasn't all that great. My Art teacher at the time didn't help. I started again a year or two ago when ABC3 had this "design an anime costume" because they were beginning to show animes on ABC3. While I didn't find it until after the contest had finished, I decided to start drawing so OCs then copying some anime characters.

I'm not an artist, but drawing is something that I always liked to do. I think I started when I was 3 or something.

When I was younger I loved to draw a lot I drew all the time. Then I got to middle school and I had the worst art teacher she killed my love completely, you didn't have to do much to get 100 in that class and the assignments we had were uninteresting and just kind of lame. I got to high school where I now have two amazing art teachers who reignited my passion for art. I know a lot of people that went to the same school as me have the same feeling because even the one's that don't really enjoy art can see that the art teachers we have now helped them improve greatly. So yeah I got into art again like the summer of 2013 which is also when I started doing digital art.

I think it's about 1 or two years ago when I first started drawing some random things. Everyone said it was great and that I had a big talent for this and all, but all I did was redrawing from a picture... Oh well xD

Around 10 years now, so I guess when I was 5. I kept drawing because I loved creating things, it fathomed me of what my imagination was capable of. LOL

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I recall being like, 4, and drawing all over those empty pages at the end of books. One time I even got in trouble in school (that was 3rd grade iirc) for doodling hardcore all over my homework :c

When i was like 6-7 i started drawing random stuff it wasn't good, but i was okay since that was my opinion as a kid.

Then i stopped drawing and only draw stuff when it was for homework.

Hold on let me go back through my memory books in my brain um -thinks-. Yeah I think it started way back when I was roughly around the age of 5 or younger. I became a artist ever since and even now I'm still trying to keep up with my art. I've been in a art class for over 10 years before I stopped so yeah it's been many years ago.

Probably when I was 5 with some awful doodles. I still draw from time to time, but it's mainly just cartoonish than anything else. Drawing has never been my forte, but it makes me happy.

I've been drawing little doodles on paper since the age of four or so, back when my older brother would sometimes draw comics for me or show me his original characters. I didn't start making digital art until I was eleven or twelve, and didn't get a tablet until last Christmas. Art classes in middle school were pretty bland and rarely gave artistic freedom, though, so I don't like them very much. :T I taught myself/learned what I know from watching others do speedpaints, and sometimes sharing techniques with a friend of mine who has a very cute art style.

I've been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil pretty much, but I didn't draw too much because my parents didn't like me drawing instead of working on schoolwork. My extent of drawing for most of my life was just doodling in mechanical pencil on the sides of my notes, haha. I only started seriously trying to improve myself in the last 5+ years, since I have always loved drawing and creating things.
