In Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, where did you train/grind up your Pokémon? Which spots would you recommend as best for leveling up?

VS Seeker on the best trainers on the route. HG/SS...not much. I could never find a really good place to train in that game besides the tall grass. Not too big of a fan of those games, to be honest.

platinum, I battled a lot in the house where gym leaders came each day. This was before I EV trained too, and the xp was good.

In Soulsilver, I usually found myself grinding in the grass outside Mount Silver once my Pokémon reached level 40+. After that, I'd use them to take on gym leaders with the lucky egg. If they were at a high enough level, I'd take on the Elite 4 over and over again. It's easy to work out their strategies and if you bring enough items you can eventually outdo them even if your Pokémon aren't powerful enough to take them on.

For Platinum, lvls 25-40, if you wanna train up to that, have the lucky egg by stealing from chansey on route 209, and battle the collector under veilstone city that is running up and down between the fences and the woman with three wormadams. They give me some amazing amount of exp, it's how I trained for Crasher Wake and to train my Shieldon to Bastiodon. As for HG/SS, I really didn't grind very much at all, I just went underleveled like I didn't care =p

In HG/SS I usually train at either Seafoam Islands, or Victory Road. Sometimes I train at Cerulean Cave.

In Pearl I like to train by battling the people at the restaurant. The Pokémon there aren't too strong so they're easy to defeat and good for levelling up some of my weaker Pokémon. The customers there can be battled every day. ^_^

In Diamond I often train on Route 14, especially in the hotel restaurant. :) I also train around Route 10 and Mount Cornet.

In Platinum, I mostly train in the Survival Area to battle my rival and the Battleground (That one place where you battle Gym Leaders). I also use the Vs.Seeker on Routes 225-230.

I had mostly trained in platinum, in that route that was right outside the city where you get your villa.
Did a lot of training there leveled up a Pokémon up to level 100 in the route. (A Staraptor she went from lv. 2 to lv. 100, all in platinum)
