Generation 5 saw a bunch of new features, and improved older features to the game. But what do you think was the best improvement? Personally, I think the best improvement was simply the fact you're able to spray repels so easily, you get a little pop up message and you can just spray it when it runs out. It's silly, and a tiny feature compared to graphic changes and other stuff, but I really liked it.

I really enjoyed the moving sprites. It made the battles feel move lively than the past generations.

I agree with Red, the moving sprites are great. Another great feature was being able to stay in your party menu and spam heal, spam vitamin, spam rare candy, whatever. I loved that. But I think my favorite is being able to reuse TMs.

The Best improved feature in the game to me would have to also be the Potion thing. It as so convenient and you didn't have to keep going back into your bag. Same with other other items you could keep using them without having to re click in the bag. Very useful

I agree with what's already been said. The ability to quickly use items repeatedly from your Bag was a great time-saver. The animated Pokémon sprites (and the animated Trainer sprites in BW2) were, to me, much-needed improvements. On a smaller note, the addition of overworld Trainer animations (take N's head shake, for example) was a nice touch.

I love the animated sprites. They made the battles feel a lot more realistic, in a sense.
The repels though... Oh gosh, I loved that. It was so small, but it was so much better than having to get back into the bag every time you need to spray a repel.

The TMs by far. It allowed you to really experiment with movesets and got rid of the idea that you have to be careful and save the one per game TMs.

My favorite is a tie between the reusable TMs, I actually used them a lot for the first time in this gen. And the wild double battles, this is because double battles are my favorite and strongest area in battling, it was nice to be able to test partners before facing trainers in battle (vaporeon and flygon duo for the win!) Though when I had to fight a double eevee encounter I wanted to cry... T-T

Aw, so many to choose from. The moving sprites was definitely good, but I think the reusable TMs was the best. Only thing is, when I went back and played HG I almost used up one of my TMs without thinking.

The reusable TMs, user-friendly bag interface, moving sprites, and the speed at which the game moved in battles. A lot of the battle animations were really long even in HG/SS, so seeing a battle pass by quicker is a great time saver.

I also liked the feature of the bag, Pokédex, and PC that allowed you to exit them completely without wading through menu screens.

Hm....well, I like the sprites(move) also, the tad bit of going into 3D (ex:the bridge to fight bug gym) which was my favorite moments! I was like :o Also, some other things were the ability to reuse tms and what gets me all the time....the gyms. They are always so unique which makes them awesome!
