Which hoenn starter is the most powerful?

As much as I love Sceptile, I'm gonna have to go Blaziken on this debate. Blaziken's coverage and massive attack stat is what makes Blaziken sooo terrifying.

 

Swampert, with only one weakness he is a terrifying opponent. Put him in rain, give him ice punch and not even grass types have much of a chance, that goes double for mega sceptile with the 4x weakness to ice. And blaziken cant handle earthquake or waterfall with his lower defense. No offense to the others, but swampert has got them beat.

 

Blaziken, I mean he is uber for a reason, in fact I find regular blaziken is more threatening than M-Swampert or M-Sceptile

Blaziken was the first starter to go uber. The only thing that could make him more threatening would be strong, reliable priority. O.o

Blaze Blaziken is pretty crap though... /gets swept by Endure/Salac set.

Gonna go with Blaziken, his attack stat is so high that type advantage doesn't mean much against Swampert.

I think Blaziken is strongest in singles, but Swampert and Sceptile really shine in doubles. Using Skill Swap on Swampert to give it Sap Sipper can absolutely wreck opposing teams. Same with using Discharge on Sceptile to activate Lightningrod.

 

Mega Blaziken isn't in übers for nothing xD It's definitely the strongest (at least in my opinion)

Mega Blaziken really is the strongest. And it's also the fastest thanks to it's special ability when it mega evolves.

 

I've noticed a lack of love for M-Sceptile. First off, M-Scetile can learn earthquake, crippling Blaziken. Second, Sceptile becomes neutral to fire-type attacks. Third, M-Sceptiles ability, lightning rod, is actually really useful, as it blocks most conventional means of paralysis. Third, Sceptile has a massive movepool to utilize, making it a deadly competitor. I suppose Blaziken can counter with Brave Bird, but I still prefer Sceptile. It may be fragile typing wise, but it's also really bulky, with double resistances to both grass and water, a resistance to ground an immunity to electric attacks (with lightning rod. Without it, it's still a double resistance to electric)

*edit: In case you didn't realize, Sceptile's my favorite starter of the three.

 

M-Blaziken is strong in a lot of stats but with the moves that the other Mega's can learn it can get wiped. I'm going with M-Sceptile because even if it has a disavantage against Blaziken,once it Mega evolves it earn the Dragon Type, So that knocks back all Fire and some other types (like Electric and Water)

Mega Blaziken. It's got a Speed Boost ability, an ability that's excellent if the Pokémon's on your team but a pain in the ass if the Pokémon's on the other team. My Blaziken knows Brave Bird, Blaze Kick, Hi Jump Kick, and Flare Blitz. It's undefeated.

Mega Blaziken is the most broken thing on the planet (except for M-Rayquaza). Mega Blaziken is overpowered and Blaziken with Speed Boost already is overpowered.

 

Mega swampert all the way. With a speed invested nature it can outspeed timid m-sceptile in the rain and out speed m-blaziken after 1 turn of speed boost. With a moveset like Eq, waterfall, ice punch, and maybe power-up-punch for even more attack...well....lets just say that blaziken is swamperts fried chicken and then he eats his sceptile salad to work off the fat.
