Which main series game have you put the most time into?

It would be HeartGold, but it's currently X/Y because I have restarted the games. X/Y I spent a lot of time shining hunting, breeding and more. And HeartGold had so much to do, and since I was younger it took a lot of time. I wish I didn't restart my HG game so much. One day I need to go through and 100% it.

 

I put most of my time into Pokémon Platinum as there was a pretty decent aftergame, and I would journey across the region just using my vs seeker in order to train up all of my Pokémon to level 100.

 

Diamond, although I spend a lot of time derping around and trying to fill up the dex, I have a save file on there that says that I played it over 600 hours

 

Pokémon Pearl, my first game. Then Y, White 2, and White. Those are the main games I've played that I spent a bunch of time on. <3

 

Pokémon X, because that's my only actual game, all others were emulators, which I usually finish within an hour or two. I can't check it right now, but I'm pretty sure there's a few 100 hours on my Pokémon X cartridge.

 

Sapphire. <3 I poured over 300 hours into that game as a kid; there was always something to do be it mix records, go through contests, train Pokémon, and so on. I was so enthusiastic about these games and had people to connect with so that made things so much more entertaining as a kid.

Second is Pokémon X with around 300 hours as well though it's definitely not as much as Sapphire. Most of my time on X was spent breeding whereas in Sapphire I actually did things outside biking back and forth for hundreds of hours so it has a special place in my heart and is more memorable.

 

Pokémon X/Y or D/P/Pt. I'm not sure because although I have 700+ hours on Pokémon Y I had 400+ hours on Diamond and have played through gen 4 the most out of any gen. D/P/Pt is probably higher but I'm not 100% sure.

 

Oh, Pokémon Sapphire Version by far. I put hundreds of hours into that game. Still have it too!

 

Each gen usually will have the most hours spent on it. I really maxed out all of my games unless I reset them. But X atm is where I am using the most time(see what I mean by the first sentence), since i berry grow, shiny hunt, breed, ev train etc.

 

I gotta say Platinum, running with 999:59 hours and it won't go higher. Following up is my SoulSilver for obvious reasons, and I just trained a crapload.

My least would probably be my Firered, after beating the league I didn't do much

 

I think for me it's Pokémon X, with X I tried to do more things that I had not tried before like IV breeding, EV training, completing the national Pokédex, hunting for shinies, all kinds of stuff that I never really attempted before. After that I think maybe Black 2 because of the medals, as well as pokestar studios and the black tower.

 

Easily Pokémon Pearl for me. Think I reached 999 hours on it, woohoo, yay for shiny hunting, egg breeding, and general putting together of teams for use in Pokémon Battle Revolution. Next up was my since-lost Pokémon Sapphire game, which clocked in something like...650ish hours? I have no idea what I was doing in-game to have so much time recorded, but I can hazard a guess that I was probably planting berries to make into Pokémon blocks to approve appeals for Pokémon contests. That and chasing that tv double battle pair around Hoenn, haha. I hope they return in the remakes!

 

I don't know how many hours I've put into past games, but I think it would have to be X&Y, considering the countless hours I've spent breeding and Masuda Methoding...

I currently have about 450 hours in my file. That's after restarting since some previous work, too O_o

 

X&Y, despite the lack of post game content. On my main file alone, I have ~650+ hours logged. I take gaming too seriously sometimes

 

As far as hours in a single game, that award goes to my X game, with nearly 2,000 hours according to my Activity Monitor, haha. If we're talking about how much time in general I've spent in a main-series game, definitely 3rd gen. I've replayed those games so many times I lost count. They were really fun back in the day, and solidified my love for Pokémon for many years to come.

 

Pokémon Pearl! I spend lots of time playing it and even though I already beat the game, I still play it to breed and train Pokémon

 

I am proud to say that my 500+ hour stint in Pokémon gold has now been overtaken by my 999+ hour marathon of Pokémon X. This is mostly due to breeding, and falling asleep while playing, but I do not regret a single moment.

 

My brother and I got Pokémon Diamond waaay back

We managed over 1000 hours.
Shame he lost the cartridge. I honestly don't know what you could do in Sinnoh for 1000s of hours. Probably contests and poffins.
