Which Pokemon DON'T deserve Mega Evolutions?

Mega Audino or Mega Pidgeot? Take which you want.

There are Pokémon without Mega that make a better job, Mega Audino obtains Healer..losing Regenerator, something that is really needed if you want to scape and use it safely later and healer is useless . And Mega Pidgeot? I prefer runing a Noivern with Hurricane and Flamethrower before a Mega Pidgeot with Hurrigcane and Flamethrower. But some players will think different and a different opinion is always welcomed.

in my opinion Blaziken but because is a starter i'll let it pass
then theres Mewtwo, i mean why did game freak though it was a good idea to give Mewtwo a mega and worst of all they give it two megas
then theres mega Rayquaza i mean HOLY SHIT game freak take an already Uber Pokémon and make it even more broken it would have been fine if it werent that broken i mean WTF were they thinking
and mega Audino ... i dont need to explain why Audino doesn't deserve a mega

 

Audino and Slowbro.

I don't really have a problem with any other ones, but about Audino... WHY. Audino has always been one of those Pokémon who is a collector's item, not something you'd use in battle. And for Slowbro, I just don't think it needs one overall. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Like you said, mewtwo, but in my opinion all legendaries and any that has two only needs one.
legendaries are already to strong most times, so giving them a mega just makes them more boring.
And I really dislike Pokémon with two megas because If I have to have mega Pokémon, I'd rather have a wide variety of choices than have one Pokémon with multiple choices.

 

Basically all legendaries, I mean they are already stronger than regular Pokémon and you give them 100 extra stat points, that's just broken.

 

First of all, I think that no Pokémon deserves more as one Mega Evolution. I don't care how popular Charizard may be, a second Mega Form was not necessary, and the same goes for Mewtwo. It's interesting to see that so many people dislike Mega Audino. I personally like it quite a bit, despite the fact that it doesn't look too spectacular going by desing alone. It's a great way to make Audino a more interesting Pokémon, because it only used to be used for EXP. Grinding or Dex filling.

One Pokémon that I have a bit of an issue is is Mega Pidgeot. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't dislike the Mega by itself, it actually looks pretty cool. The problem is that Pidgeot is the standard three-stage Flying type bird-like Pokémon that appears in the first Routes of a region. In other words, it's very similar to Staraptor, Unfezant and Talonflame (and, although only two-staged, also Noctowl and Swellow). Why didn't they get a Mega Evolution? Of course there's always the future, which we've also seen with Mega Blaziken appearing before the other Hoenn starters.

Overall though, I think every Pokémon deserves a Mega Evolution. Why should one specific Pokémon not be able to Mega Evolve, while all the others do?

 

If you mean which Pokémon, that already has a Mega-evolution, doesn't need one then I would say Slowbro and Sableye. However, if you're saying which Pokémon, whom doesn't already have a Mega-evolution, and does not need one then I would say Ditto. Omfg, something wicked this way comes, and it's name is Mega-Ditto!

On a side note, is there even a way to make a Mega-Ditto not look like either Grimer or Muk?

 

Mega Salamence and all of the legendary Pokémon. They are already powerful enough as it is, they really don't need a mega form to make them more OP.

 

Slowbro and Glalie didn't really need one, nor did Steelix. Gallade as well. I could probably go on.

 

Arceus definitely doesn't need one, haha. It's the god of Pokémon, it's already powerful as it is. Pokémon like Reshiram/Zekrom/Kyurem don't really need one either, since they're really powerful in their own right.

 

Any legendary doesn't deserve a mega evolution. I just think it's weird to make an OP Pokémon even more OP.

 

Design-wise, I think Mega Sableye is kind of unnecessary. It's basically "let's make it just like normal Sableye, but with a big rock."

None of the pseudo-legendaries needed one. Instead of powering those up, they should have focused on the Pokémon that need the most work, like Luvdisc or Lumineon.

 

I have to say at a competitive standpoint, Mega Salamence was not necessary as mence was already powerful enough, it makes it even more versatile having a Mega Evolution and a good movepool. Legendaries definitely don't need megas unless if you are playing Ubers maybe I can understand but that's honestly it. Megazard X is also irrelevant when it comes to doubles at times, and I feel it was mainly a fanservice Pokémon for those who wanted Charizard to be a dragon.

At a story standpoint, Legendary Mega Pokémon are fine, I like to see some legendaries get powerful and as long as the story explains their power i'm ok with it. Mewtwo never really got an explanation on how it even got its mega stone, and 2 for that matter, thus I don't feel it deserves a mega.

As for other Pokémon, nothing that screams Broken to me other than Kangaskhan. See if it wasn't for Kangaskhans crazy ability, I wouldn't mind Kangaskhan as much, heck if they made it so Parental bond only does like 10-20% extra damage, and is not affected by attack modifiers, then it would definitely be a bit more passable and balanced.

 

Legendaries and Charizard. Legendaries really don't need them, at least most of them don't, and Charizard really didn't deserve two.

 

I like the idea of every Pokémon having a mega evolution or something similar eventually, and going with that it seems really silly to give pseudo-legendaries and legendaries mega evolutions straight off the bat
