Who is the Champion of Champions?

Cynthia? I was going to vote her but she doesn't show up. That garchomp was fearsome

 

Cynthia from Diamond and Pearl has my vote. Her entire team is at least 20-30 levels higher than the highest leveled trainers and wild Pokémon, and her Pokémon are fearsome in stats and movesets too. I literally only survived because my last Pokémon, empoleon, pp stalled her milotic into struggling itself to death. She got a big nerf in Platinum, but she's still the hardest champion I have faced.

 

Cynthia was the most difficult champ ever for me. Her team had such a variety that I honestly only beat her through sheer luck. I hope when they inevitably re-release Sinnoh they don't bring the nerf-hammer on her like they did with a huge amount of Hoenn.

 

Whoever was an Elite 4 Champion, cannot be the Champion of Champions (this includes Cynthia). Red has always been the main, main protagonist in Pokémon since its inception. He's an entity of his own, and a Pokémon Master you fight separately from all the rest. He has Pokémon's mascot; Pikachu on his team. If that's not enough to convince someone that he is the true Champion of Champions, then I really don't know what is.

Red was also the most difficult obstacle to overcome in the original GSC. He had a Lv. 81 Pikachu, with all his other companions in the high 70s. This was back when there was no boosted Exp. Share, no Lucky Egg, no real convenient way to level grind fast.

Excluding Nostalgia sakes, Red is simply put the O.G. of all badassery.
He doesn't even need to speak to you for you to know shit is about to go down.
And not to mention his team is pretty solid all around -- powerful.

And then he turned around and bitch slapped Blue in the E4 fight.
And he's so freaking cool, he remained mysterious, decided that he wasn't going to take the spot of League Champion. Instead, he decided to train on top of Mt. Silver to become EVEN BETTER.

Steven. Fucking. Stone. He was the champ I started with and still remains my favorite champ because he is the only champ who uses a Metagross which is my 5th favorite Pokémon.

 

Red has my vote.
The bro has the highest levels out there, took down a entire evil corporation by himself, goes through the elite four, defeats the old champion, then defeats the new champion.
The dude is way too cool not to be the champion of champions.

 

Cynthia for me! She was the toughest imo, and had a really well-rounded team! Plus, I loved her design! Red is cool and all, a nice nostalgia character, but that's all for me

 

Steven and his rocks can pretty much destroy the competition. Probably the most trouble he'll have to face is red, but that's an equally amazing fight, but I'm going to say that Steven could win, which is why I'm voting for him.

 

Red is really close to Cynthia, but Cynthia, imo. Not easily, but Cynthia could surely match and beat Red. Almost each and every one of her Pokémon has an advantage over his. Her ace Garchomp has a better speed than Pikachu, and with Pikachu's low defense and lower speed, Earthquake with OHKO it. Lucario could easily overpower Lapras with Close Combat, and Snorlax as well. Garchomp and Togekiss could defeat Venusaur, Milotic could defeat Charizard, considering Milotic has great sp. def, and Roserade and Spiritomb could defeat Blastoise.

Anyways, Red was the hardest for me, but as said above, Cynthia could still defeat him, and Cynthia is a close second for me anyways. Her Garchomp was reaalllyy pesky, with it's Sitrus Berry, then once you got the next hit, she would heal with another medicine. So, Cynthia gets the toughest champ vote for me.
