Who you guys going to choose?

I'm going with Mudkip. Although Blaziken is my favorite, Water/Ground is an extremely over-powered type combination. Plus Marshstomp makes the third gym pathetically easy.

 

I m going for treecko despite the infinite weaknesses.. I like sweepers, thats all xD

 

My full list of starters are:

Charmander - First Pokémon I ever picked or had, so he has a special place in my heart.
Cyndaquil - All around a solid fire type starter.
Mudkip - Although Blaziken is my favorite starter, Water/Ground is a very powerful type combination.
Piplup - All around just a fun starter to use, plus the immunity to sandstorm and poison moves is a nice plus.
Oshawatt - Seems to be very similar to Mudkip in terms of bulkiness, and like Piplup is just fun to use.
Froakie - Two reasons: 1. He's a frog that is a freaking ninja and 2. Protean, which is by far the best hidden ability on a starter yet.

 

Charmander - 'Cause I love charizard
Cyndaquil - Iike start with a Fire Type
Torchic - I love Blaziken
Piplup - A loooong history...
Snivy - I really like Serperior

Gen 1; Blastoise. Since everyone was choosing Charmander, I chose Squirtle because Squirtle > Charmander.

Gen 2; Totodile, for same reason as above.

Gen 3; Mudkip. Because he was the CUTEST THING EVER

Gen 4; Turtwig. Because why not.

Gen 5; Snivy. Because why not.

Gen 6; Chespin. Because who does not want a lil' bowser

Probably picking Mudkip again.

 

Gen 1: [3D='pikachu'] Because I don't have much choice since it was Yellow. (I got he game only ~7 years ago)

Gen 2: N/A

Gen 3: N/A

Gen 4: For Pearl, It was between [3D='chimchar'] and [3D='turtwig'], because [3D='piplup'] is derp to me. I gave [3D='turtwig'] a chance in Platinum, too.

Gen 5: Pokémon Black, a new begining! So I chose Fire again! XD Go [3D='tepig']! (Until I discovered he was another FREAKING Fire/Fighting)
Black 2 : [3D='oshawott'] because he's super duper cute.

Gen 6: X - I chose you [3D='chespin']! Because [3D='froakie'] had a weird name and looked derp too, and I knew everyone was going to chose [3D='fennekin']
And [3D='chesnaught'] still manages to be cute while being awesome!

ORAS : If I have the game, I've always wanted a darling [3D='mudkip']

MUDKIP. it looks great imo plus i already have the blazekinite and while i like grovyle and treecko i just dont like sceptile

 

To me:

Gen 1: [3D='004'] Because I love Charizard and it's mega evolution (x version)

Gen 2: [3D='155']. Due to Typhlosion's special attack power

Gen 3: [3D='255']. Torchic is adorable. Plus, Blaziken is badass

Gen 4: [3D='393']. The same as Torchic, it's cute. and Empoleon's additional type prevents poison-type and grass-type moves from doing much effect.

Gen 5: [3D='495']. Serperior's speed and defense is amazing.

Gen 6: [3D='653']. I really love foxes. And Delphox's special attack is extremely powerful


ORAS: Torchic! [3D='255']

 

I really can't decide between torchic and mudkip.
See, when I played sapphire as a kid i had torchic, then eventually a lvl 100 blazekin, so i want to relive that, but in soul silver i chose torchic, and i also had the event mega one in X. So probably not torchic just because i've used it so much.

Treecko, because I always choose the grass starter, except for the Kanto starter you received halfway through X and Y for balance reasons.

 

Kanto: Squirtle. Squirtle is a boss, way cooler as the other two
Johto: Cyndaquil. Never been a huge fan of either of the starters, so naturally I go with the Fire type.
Hoenn: Mudkip. Once again, not a huge fan of either of the starters, but Mega Swampert really changed that up for me.
Sinnoh: Piplup. It's a penguin. Penguins > everything else. End of story.
Unova: Snivy. Mostly because I really dislike the other two. Emboar is too fat and Samurott does not resemble its prevolutions in any way.
Kalos: Fennekin. Fire + Fox = Awesome!

 

My first Pokémon was Charmander, personally, in Fire red (my first game)

In Gen 2 (well, it was HGSS, so technically gen 4, but the starters are gen 2) it would definitely be Chikorita.

Gen 3, Trecko's my main one. No offense, but I'm a little sick of Blaziken.

Gen 4, gotta be Turtwig. Torterra's pretty beastly, and can even be tutored Outrage.

Gen 5 is probably Snivy, though Tepig comes pretty close. Serperior is just like "I'm better than you, and you know it". Plus, coil.

Finally, gen 6 you'd think I'd dislike Greninja for the publicity it gets, but no-Greninja is my favourite, despite the huge fandom for it (weird, considering I don't like Blaziken for how much love it gets)

 

Gen 1: Squirtle, because I like turtles xD
Gen 2: Cyndaquil. No contest.
Gen 3: Now this one is though, because they're all great. But I'm going with Treecko here.
Gen 4: Chimchar. Also no contest.
Gen 5: I picked Tepig, but I like Oshawott better.
Gen 6: Froakie, this is based on its evolutionary line, because if we look at just the first stages, Fennekin is the better one.

And I'm gonna be picking Treecko, because mega Sceptile looks awesome.

Kanto 1st gen Starter: Bulbasauar
Joto 2nd gen Starter: Chikorita
Hoenn 3rd gen Starter: Treecko
Sinnoh 4th gen Starter: Piplup (Dangit, my only non-grass favorite starter XD )
Unova 5th gen Starter: Snivy

Pretty common trend here, huh.

 

1st gen: Either Bulbasaur or Squirtle. Either of them is fine and they're easy to get through Brock and Misty.

2nd gen: Chikorita. FOREVER AND FOR LIFE. I always, always, always choose Chikorita.

3rd gen: Torchic. Torchic is so adorable. I'm planning to choose Mudkip for my AS playthrough.

4th gen: Piplup. I kinda...don't like the starters in this gen, but Piplup is adorable.

5th gen: Oshawott!! Oshawott is awesome, and Samurott is even more awesome. Got a female Oshy in my first playthrough.

6th gen: Fennekin. Really loved Fennekin until I got to its final evo and I ended up not liking it as much. Going for Froakie in my Y playthough.

 

1st gen: Squirtle! It's just too cute.
2nd gen: Chikorita! It's apparently super soothing. Oh and cute.
3rd gen: Torchic or mudkip! Both evolve into strong Pokémon. Both super cute as well.
4th gen: Piplup. It's cute and it turns into a steel penguin.
5th gen: Oshawott. It's really cute with its shell.
6th gen: Froakie. It looks cool.

Huh. I see a trend with my choices.

 

I would go with treecko I love his dragon grass mega form and also he looks like a friggin BOSS!
